I asked a buyer to cancel on a collection item, who had not collected after a couple of weeks, she refused to cancel. Sent me a message stating how upset & disappointed she was that I'd asked her to cancel when she so wanted the item, and would collect it when she could. She then stirred herself up to such a state she told me to cancel the sale & stick the item. I had to pay the FVF's.

Thank you, I knew I was doing the right thing.

No payment from her yet, only 4+ days to go.

Think I need to go for a walk and think about something else, I'm turning into a saddo. Or I could buy something and not pay for it and get someone else in a frenzy :rotfl: No, I think a walk is best, only I'm a business power seller with 3000+ feedback 100% positive - I spend my life trying to please these lovely people.

I do love the fact that the dim buyer referred to the OP as a 'GRUMBY' person..I thought I was the only one who made up words by accident!

Maybe she means that he's a crumby grump?
Sometimes words that you make up yourself are so much better than the common old ones.

No crumby grump is fine by me, some days I feel much worse than that. But I'm a she, I've regretted using a male user name for a while now but cant see how I can change it. Soapyjoe is what we called my little boy Joseph when he was a baby.

I don't think you can change your user name.
You'll have to put in your sig that you are in fact a lady.

I have sold over 5000 things on ebay over 12 years. Until last month I had had less than 10 non paying bidders in total. This month alone I now have 8 (7 very low value- 1 who rebought cheaper and won't pay).

It is a culture it seems. Bid but dont feel you have to pay.

There does seem to be far more NPB's than ever before. Several of us on here have noticed the increase recently.

Since Monday, I now have six lots unpaid for. Ebay have just opened the dispute for my mate as mentioned above. Wondering now how she'll respond, perhaps another friendly email from her on it's way, we'll see
