That's perfectly alright, Bublin, so long as you're happy and saving that's all that counts.

So, keep away from the pot, after all you (all of us) have waited all this time so why not til Thursday NEXT!!! Now BEHAVE or you'll be on that naughty bench without any food or water!!!!

    Signs of a harsh winter

I just got off the phone with a friend living in North Dakota near the Canadian Border. He said that since early this morning the snow has been coming down, it is nearly waist high and is still falling. The temperature is dropping way below zero and the north wind is increasing to near gale force. His wife has done nothing but look through the kitchen window and just stare. He says that if it gets much worse, he may have to let her in.

I've got £5.50 for my pot today. That's change from eating a scrummy organic beef burger with cheese from the farmers market.

Thanks Sparks, I've missed you guys too :). I've just been really busy working, so only jumping on and off the MSE site as and when I could, however now I'm not working :( so I've got a chance to catch up until hopefully something else comes along. Hope you and DW are well, and I see you have another NY holiday booked, lucky you. I'm assuming that's New York and not North Yorkshire :rotfl:, I think it's great when I see people wearing T-shirts that declare " I heart North Yorkshire" ;)

    Toodles

ETA: Just noticed you put New York, I was referring to an earlier post, ignore me, it's still early-ish.

£8.20 in the pot today . Delighted I have a massive bug for this. Before I get change I know where it's going. This is all going towards my 20 th birthday fund, I'm planning a full day box at a top football club in London so this will help pay towards that!! Keep going people it will be worth it

DH took me to tesco tonight as we needed a new kettle and thought we would use the double up Mr T points, well when we got there, they had very kindly reduced our kettle from £40 to £30.97, I had £10 in vouchers that I doubled up and then a £7 off £50 spend to in total my kettle cost me £ 3.97 :rotfl: Also got a bit of shopping, managed to spend £50 on goodness knows what  and on the way out noticed that the frijj milkshakes hadnt gone through at B1G2F so went back in, it was DS's fault picking one up that wasnt on offer, but she very kindly got me another one and gave me my change back in cash instead of back on my card :D

    Sooooooooooo 1 x shiny £2 AND 4 x 50p's . . . I feel like ive raided sparkys NY fund :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
