Hi Jake's Mum, just like to say how pleased I am for your DH's good news. Hope his job becomes a permanent one and tell him well done for giving up the coffin nails. That's a great total he's saved so far. I hope he encourages others to stop too.

    Morning everyone.

Lovely to see you, loveGSDs, never mind as we know you're always thinking of us, well sometimes!. The main thing is that you're still saving, good for you.

Do what's best for you, charleybear, though you HAVE sealed your pot haven't you??? IF you do transfer any to the bank would you please pop it on your signature by your number each time? Thanks. Your BF will soon get used to you picking up pennies (or larger amounts!), he'll the be joining you! That's what happened with my DH & I!! ;)

Fair enough, jakes-mum, have you added it to your siggy?? I knew you would never have dreamed of opening it/yours! I'm so thrilled for you and your hubby with his work..great news!!!

Well done Suzi_Wa and you, Decluttering!

So fivers from every which way then, mumof3plusoh, skilly and Muppet_baby! :D:D:D

BTW Muppet_baby, try to do better next year, but please, don't worry about the amount you have compared with others. You were late in starting and, in any case, it's money you've saved and that's all that counts! This is one of those times where size is not the most important thing, I promise you! If YOU are happy that's all that matters! :) We start again on 2nd December, push hard then.

That's GOOD road change, Kerry, excellent. :grinheart

Keep saving hard folk, not long now, in fact only 9 days left til the pots are opened!!

    Enjoy the day all.

    Sue x

Sometimes I'm quite sure I'm the only sane one on here. :idea:Oh, I can pretty much fit the bill whatever the occasion, redbull, but then I have to be adaptable with so many [STRIKE]odd balls[/STRIKE] wonderful folk on here. I'm rapidly searching for cross-eyed smilie at the mo, make sense? Of course it does.

Hi everyone, ive not been on here for a long time, sorry, but been so busy this year with illness, hospitals, operations etc. but im back and ready to save for next year. Also im here to say how much ive saved this year, BUT the thing is i saved it up, but it has now been spent.....on a family holiday to disneyland paris! it was awesome!!! saving again to hopefully go again next year. we got a good deal and a very fancy hotel, so for a few weeks leading up to the holiday, me and my little one we're living off very little to have money for disney, and it was fab.

so my total for 2011 is ............£1900

yeah its crazy, but that paid for the whole family holiday, plus flights, food and i also got my son's birthday and christmas pressents while we were there, so i dont have to worry about christmas for him this year !!! :)

So i have now started saving for next year, hopefully get a small holiday in this time next year, if not, then it will be 2013. But thankyou to all of you, if it wasnt for you guys in the early days helping and encouraging, i wouldnt have got to that amount and had such a fab holiday. i saved most of that money, the rest was comp wins too thanks to the comp thread :)

so yeah count me in for next year please :)

EDIT; my number thing is 1027
