Hello all
I have been keeping up with the thread but not posted for a long time. I currently have £118.05 in my sealed pot which is well below my £300 target but it is still far more money than I would have had if I had not started my pot so its great.
Sig updated and I am going to keep topping it up until 1st December. I am so excited about the 1st when I can take a saw to my sealed tin!!#1200 - Sealed Pot challenge £1263/£300

I've been quiet on here, deliberately. My pot was literally sealed (needs a tin opener to get into) and I didn't want to track how much I was putting in there, because then it would be sitting there, looking at me, begging me to spend it. :-)
Well, the plan was to save this til December for my Christmas treat, but there's a few games coming out that I want, plus a friend has a tablet that I want to buy off him, so it got cracked open last night - it's being used for it's intended purpose (i.e. being wasted on boy toys and shiny things) so I don't feel too bad about opening it early!
I have £162.80 in 5ps and up. Coppers haven't been counted, but I reckon there's about another £15-20 there. Natwest have one of the auto counting machines in branch, but instead of giving you cash and taking a cut like the supermarket ones, this one just deposits the lot into your account - no charge! So that's my Tuesday morning sorted (next day off). I'm then going to pick up another sealed pot and make an early start on next years challenge.0 -
still here and lurked the thread throughout the year, been a tough year for us financially but we survived (so far) had to break into pot earlier in the year and not managed to put much else away but will open as usual on Dec 1st
