  • I love the terramuni pots and always hated the idea that they had to be broken to get the money out, but now I know that where there's a will there's a way I shall ask for 1 for Christmas and use it for next year.:j
27p to add to total today, not much but nearly at the same amount that I banked when I started this challenge.:)
And next year will be soooo much better:A

Use a kebab skewer, get it behind the note and force it out through the hole :D

Evening everyone - TheBees #416 saying hello.. Not been on for a couple months but definitely still throwing money in the pots whenever possible.

The £2 puffin money box is almost full.., there aren't many £1 coins in the whisky jar (much less than the £52 I'd planned to save - £1 per week) but the big glass hexagonal container is looking good.

We are using our loose change to put towards a family holiday to Turkey next summer so I hope there'll be £500 or more.

    Good luck everyone.

    Morning everyone
My usual £2 into the sealed pot last night. Only 5 more sleeps until we fly to Poland on Monday. Nice to see you back ThBees and good to see you're still potting away.

Have a great day everyone, stay safe and keep saving

Congratulations on baby Finn, Winnie in Pooh!!! :T I can well imagine just how delighted you are, please give him a HUGE hug for me. :)

Hi again everyone and thank you ALL so very, very much indeed for the thoughts, hugs and wonderful words whilst I've been in hospital, and since too. You're a terrific bunch and we're a truly special family. The operation went well, thank you and I've been having intensive physiotherapy since I got back on the ward to try to get the shoulder moving again, though it doesn't look as though I'll regain full use, but anything's better than the way it was, believe me! It's still very painful, but has to be worked through or it'll start to seize again! It'll take at least 4-6 weeks, but worth waiting for. For now I'm using my "speech to text" device as my hand's still not right.

Thanks again for all your kind thoughts folks, they were a joy to read and I'm so grateful to you ALL. :D

Hiya sparky and thanks so much for looking after the thread whilst I've been in hospital and since; you've done a grand job considering how much you've been working for months! Still, Poland beckons and is only a few days away!!

Oh very good on popping all that cash back in the pot, jakes-mum, wondered what you were going to say for the minute. Thanks for the update of your sig.

Amazing news about your DMP payments and how well you're going, e4rub, be so, so proud of all you've achieved! If it's only a small amount saved...it's still savings and is GREAT!!! :T

A note to ferriswheeljunkie, Betsie and all others with Terramundis, there's a detailed explanation of how to get your cash out on the 1st Post on Page 1. With regards to the notes ferriswheeljunkie, tip the pot up and have a pair of tweezers ready to grab them.

Good to see you, TheBees! Savings wise, I hope things pick up before you go to Turkey, if not how about........Paignton??!! Sorry, couldn't resist it as you live in Devon.

Keep safe folks and keep right on saving and I'll be back just as often as I can.

    Love and hugs,

    Sue x
