Excellent lamps... no business/financial etc connection to me, just a 'user' - have a dozen around house now, 120 degree angle good for general lighting rather than spotlighting. All led lamps have a more direction nature than halogens, instead of trying to match 50watts with costly lamps its worth considering adding a few more, especially to new installs to compensate for light level and directivity.
• if you want a recommendation ..for gu10s .. try megaman

i bought some at a car boot sale ..£5 for 9 of them ..wish the guy had more .

i gave them to my brother (cause he was sick of replacing halogens every 2-3 weeks.....well he's over the moon with them.....

if you hang on in on ebay ..you could get one for a fiver inc p+p

these are miniature cfls ..use 11 watt and replace 50 watt, lifespan 15,000 hours

model number 614482

all the best.markj

Wandsworth. Why do you ask?

Only you said the guy who runs the company lived a couple of miles away and popped round...

...but the company is based in Yorkshire?

As I said in my earlier post in this thread, I did not remove the previous thread by the OP, patrickswlondon.

I don't know whether patrickswlondon has read the Forum Rules but as a new member, it's a good idea to read the rules before posting in the forum.;)

As a new member, if you post with praise about a product and/or a company or supplier.............you raise suspicions from other members.

This is a moneysaving board and arguments don't help anyone.

I'm closing/locking this thread and it will be reported to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com
