Hello Everyone
Welcome Floozie - yes please do join in - you'll be a yummy mummy before you know it.
Carmen staying the same after a couple of bad days sounds very positive, some times we hit a plateau and it can take a while, it sounds as if you're on the right track though.
There are some really positive posts on here - helps keep me motivated too. Bitsy great multi-tasking. Do your children ask for "treatments" too, mine used to (boys I might add). I'd turn it into a game with them, same with the exercise. We used to follow the routines with Lizzie the Green Goddess on GMTV. That was a long time ago.:D
Tru - glad you're getting there - plaster dust seems to keep falling for days doesn't it.
Lizzie - what peel are you using. I'm feeling grotty today but will post up a recipe for a mini-peel soon.
HF Sorry to hear you've had a couple of rough days, consider your deriere gently kicked - be kind to yourself - you'll soon get your mojo back.
Well my mojo has thoroughly deserted me today, feel dreadful. Had one of my stress attacks in the middle of the night - probably induced by sheer exhaustion after yesterday.
OH's carer still ill too, so struggling a bit TBH. Tomorrow will be better.
Maman Good idea to rethink your make-up, we often get stuck in a bit of a rut. Are you nearly at your target weight yet.
The plus side of feeling so grotty today is that I don't actually feel like eating.:o
Bye for now0 -
LL have you considered your bedtime coffee in relation to your stress attack? xPlease do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0

Grateful
No I hadn't but you're right it was rather late when I had it. Normally my last coffee of the day is abut 7-00pm.
I shall watch out for that one, thanks for that.
The thing was, I'd had such a lovely day too and I certainly didn't feel anxious or unduly worried about anything.0 -
Well I had a good weekend but it was a DISASTER beauty wise.
I spend every weekend with OH (he lives with his parents) and my routine just disappered. Plus for some reason, every time i stay my skin erupts. It gets really red and blotchy and horrible. It takes ages to go down.
Back into the swing of things today. And have body brushed, showered, mositurised, eye creamed, nail strenghtnered, hand creamed hair done etc etc!!0 -
Kerry that sounds like an allergy of sone kind. Next time you stay try taking an antihistamine to see if it helps. If it does then I'd work on the cause eh their washing powder etc
Oh dear. Did some more skipping tonight. 'twas a tena lady momentmy pelvic floor isn't so much a floor as a floorboard with woodwork infestation!!! Feel sick due to large piece of birthday cake consumed for DDs birthday today. And we won't talk about the large bar if galaxy that was also consumed today
will I EVER get a grip on my eating carp
I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks
All will be well in the end. If it's not well, it's not the end.Be humble for you are made of earth. Be noble for you are made of stars0 -
great day after an awful start - kept to my diet & did about 5mins of Zumba- believe me I haven't sweated that much after excercise in years, I can feel my stomach muscles complaining but it was fun, wonder if I'll ever be fit enough for th 60 minute session though.
Has anyone else done the Ultralift challenge? have to admit I was impressed & thought it was as good as Gatineau (my QVC treat when I was working) but a lot cheaper.proud gran to 4 lovely boys and one little girl0 -

Wow! you really made up for your weekend off Kerry. Well done:T
I'm very pleased with how my tan is keeping after my holiday. What I do every year is plenty of body lotion after every shower mixed wth a tiny bit of that Johnson's Holiday Skin. (about 5:1 body lotion to tanner). I look and feel so much better with a bit of colour. Also my hair is looking much blonder after my holiday. I always have highlights but my hairdresser recommended I didn't bother before going away as the sun would bleach it and he was right! I've also been using an eyebrow pencil, just a grey one but it does help add some definition.
Sorry to hear about your nasty attack LL, hopefully you'll catch up on some sleep tonight.0 -
Good morning ladies,
Much better day today after yesterdays heatwave phew!
Looking around the garden this morning reminded me of the effect that lack of water can have!! I find drinking plenty of Adams ale is the best thing for keeping the skin clear, I keep telling my sis that drinking a gallon of tea a day is NOT the same :rotfl:
Yesterday I managed to have a manicure, eyebrow tidy, body 'scrub' and mini facial. I even managed to get some ironing done (usually never in the heat) I decluttered my underwear draws, threw out all the knickers that are too big, still have plenty that now fit, and when I lose another couple of stone I am going to buy some really nice lingerie (Christmas prezzie) as opposed to sensible
Meeting a friend for coffee today so will make a little more effort on appearanceNot forgetting a dab of parfam!
Lizzie, well done on your weight loss, keep up the good work.
Hamster, glad you are back on track with your eating plan and zumba.
Tru, now the plasterers have gone maybe you will have some 'me' time?
Twinnie, so pleased you had a lovely time with your family, what does it feel like to reach another noughty?:rotfl: I don't feel any different :rotfl:
I hope you are feeling better today?
Maman, I hope all is well with you, I am looking forward to the day when I can also go into a clothes shop and not go straight to the larger sizesKeep up the good work.
Mrs W, hope all is well with you? How is the ankle, better I hope after last weekend romping in the woods
OK, just watched a beautiful sunrise and can now see to water the garden, before it gets too hot.
DRINK PLENTY OF WATER!!

Kerry, agree with Bitsy about antihistamine.
Are there pets in the house, maybe you are allergic to them?

Bitsy I know what you mean about the chocolate. I HAVE to have some every day
I bought 8 small bars of dairy milk on sunday (on offer in Morrison's) and I was going to eat one a day. I've eaten the lot
I'm going to give myself permission to eat as much as I like as long as I eat a healthy meal first. When I'm 'allowed' to do something, it doesn't seem as exciting. It works for other things, I'm hoping it works for choc too.
Carmen Hardly any dust settled last night, so I won't have to spend most of the day getting rid of it, lol. I put the carpets back down yesterday, so there's definitely more time for me today.
Yesterday, I cut my fringe back in. I was growing it but it was getting on my nerves, my hair is really thick and it was uncontrollable. I'm sure I look younger now
Today I'll be doing my usuals - all over moisturiser, foot cream, perfume. I'll add a short pilates session and an eyebrow tidy.
We've picked beetroot, broad beans, peas, carrots, courgettes and italian yellow beans from the garden. I love raw veg, so I'll put a bit of each in a bowl and snack on them. 'Cept the courgettes, I hate themBulletproof0
