Please also stop to consider the bigger picture of threads like this on MSE. Next time Mr Lewis goes in to campaign against a particular company who have messed us around (hopefully Lovefilm - see that thread) how does it help if they can turn around and say:

"well your little community openly advocate fraud don't they? So don't take a pop at us Lewis - on yer bike!"

...or words to that effect!

It would be naive to think that many of the online retailers don't monitor the BBs and see all this sort of stuff - I'm sure they do.

I'm sorry but I do think all this is a little over the top. 'Grabbits' like this are used on this board time and time again. Threads are monitored all the time and actioned upon if necessary. I'm sure this one wouldn't have run for so long if it was considered 'damaging' to Martin's career in any way !!!!

Too be honest, I need to check if the old one is still working, have to wait a few hours before I can try again though. If it is then I'll open the floodgates of my inbox and offer it to a name picked at random from the CD-Wow central computer database I hope that's ok with everyone that's asked ?
