  • I signed up for this recently as I tried to use the other recycle site & found it far too complicated! Have already shifted a PC moniter/keyboard to a good home & have just listed a further large item.

Well done for an excellent site, what is that saying? About one persons rubbish being another person's gold? Something like that, anyway!

    Hi,

    Thanks, have just registered.

Already registered with freecycle, but where I live not many give anything away for nothing!

Whereas, I would rather give what I have of no use for anymore, to someone that may use it-I bought it, so it shouldnt cost anyone anything to use it after me. (Bonus, if it was given to me for free after they didnt want it - but thats just my family tho.)

I hope this site really gets going bigger and better.

  • Thanks Guys

Glad people appreciate the site. It does seem to be being well used already which makes all the hard work worthwhile.

  • At risk of having my post removed.....! We have just been asked to send our press release to "Good Housekeeping" so they can run a feature on our site. Which is great news for all our members as it means more members and more free stuff!
Email problems are now a thing of the past too.

As we said earlier - one persons rubbish (or muck) is another persons brass. Or something like that !
  • We have solved our AOL email problems. If anyone has a similar problem on a site, it turned out to be the ip address of our server that was blacklisted. Simply moving the site to another server did the trick
