    Looks good - thanks OP.

You can discover more about a person in an hour of play than in a year of conversation.
    Plato ;) Make £2018 in 2018 no. 37 - total = £1626.25/£2018 :j
  • I love freecycle but the format is really comlicated thanks to yahoo groups. I know they're working on a web based version, and this site shows how important that is.

I have no complaints with the way that Norwich is moderated ;)
  • A good idea and I like the layout but it is NOT Freecycle in a new easier format! Is is "similar" to Freecycle in the context that it is free. Great if you live in Sussex! However, I hope it thrives. Ive not joined but I'm wondering if it is moderated or not?? If it isn't there will be endless problems with spammers and unsuitable posts. The website quoted is sort of giving the impression that Freecycle is no longer on Yahoo.

Quote "Normally it is run on Yahoo Groups, but since the introduction of this new website - http://www.efreeko.co.uk, you can browse through offers and send messages to the offerers online."

Im sure that this was not intended though. Freecycle would do well to set the site out more like this-it would be a great help to people. Keep recycling! Good luck to all.

I listed a an unwanted Xmas present a web cam on it last week and it worked well. It seemed alot easier to use than Freecycle which I equally love.

It does look sparse but things do appear and dissapear when they are taken so I guess just the less wanted stuff is left on them.

Not as handy as not split into regions - guess that comes later when it catches on?

recycle.co.uk is better and has more things for those of up 'oop north' than efreeko, which only really seems to have things listed/wanted for those down south.
