I've never booked a Sun holiday before so could be dreaming that I would even get a date or specific park that I'm thinking of booking direct. But before booking direct I thought I might see if it's available through the Sun holidays,is there anywhere I can see which parks are involved, I've tried the sun site and can't see it anywhere.

    http://www.ukholidaysinthesun.co.uk/cgi-bin/UKHS_park_0003.cgi?promo=SUNAUT11&showall=Y
This is the link to the parks with information about them (sorry I don't know how to embed links so I hope it works).

Otherwise try www.ukholidaysinthesun.co.uk and click on the park info.

    hi

If you have a priority booking code can you book more than one holiday?

Also - i see they are selling these priority booking forms on ebay - has anyone ever bought one from ebay? is it safe or a scam?

i am thinking spending £25 on a priority code might be worth it if it gets you a cheaper holiday overall???

You can start a thread on here for a priority code if no-one else has this year.

Then people add their names to it and when someone is not using there code they take the name from the top and send the code to them.

You could buy off ebay but you don't know if it is actually a code, it's a bit risky, esp for £25.00.

i'd look at starting a thread, if you do a search from the last round of sun hols you'll see that there's lots of generous MSE'ers who give them away to the top of the list.

    hi

BUT can anyone tell me exactly how they work? and when and what time do i need to get online to get the best chance of getting the dates i need?

    art

The priority code booklet staes the website is open from Sunday 10th July and you need 9 code words to book online.

Not including the bonus token some have been sent, come Saturday 9th you will have 8 codes. The website normally opens a day or 2 early which would mean you could guess the last code rather than waiting for all 9 codes to be printed on the Sunday.

My guess is that the website will open on the Friday, so those with the bonus code will have 8 codes then, and everyone else will have 7.

We all then guess the last code word (or two) and post on here once we know what it is.

You then log onto the website with your reference code and have to input the 9 code words. Once you have done that you select your dates and parks. If you get a match you can choose to keep the selection or try again. This allows you to play around with dates and parks until you (hopefully) get what you want.

You then pay for the holiday and are emailed a confirmation.

    Hope this helps.
