I've never booked a Sun holiday before so could be dreaming that I would even get a date or specific park that I'm thinking of booking direct. But before booking direct I thought I might see if it's available through the Sun holidays,is there anywhere I can see which parks are involved, I've tried the sun site and can't see it anywhere.

they being going alot longer than 10 years, infact they being going 21 years, as they started in 1990

wow - 21 years - that shows they much work for everyone then ie work for the parks in filling up spaces, for the sun as good publicity and for us moneysavers who want cheap holidays...

do you know when they started to give out the priority booking codes?

it would be interesting to know what percentage of holidays are booked using the priority codes and what percentage are booked sending in the tokens ...

Hi the priority codes are being sent now. They also send a bonus code so that priority beekers can do so from Sun 10th July as they only need 9 codes and not 10.
Art if you are not bothered about where you go you can let them select the park within a certain area. Usually means you have more of a chance. There is a thread on MSE where you can request a priority code that someone is not using.

These are the starting dates for Sun holidays from £9.50:

...Monday-Friday (4 night breaks): September 12, 19, 26 October 3, 10, 17, 24, 31 November 7, 14, 21, 28

Friday-Monday (3 night breaks): September 9, 16, 23, 30 October 7, 14, 21, 28 November 4, 11, 18, 25

These are the starting dates for Sun holidays from £15:

Monday-Friday (4 night breaks): September 5

Friday-Monday (3 night breaks): September 2

Note: Not all parks are available on all dates

Just for priority bookers (ie those with reference no) they are offering extra dates
Fri - Mon (3 night breaks)
March 23, 30 April 27, May 11
Mon - Fri (4 night breaks)
March 26, April 2, 30, May 7, 14

If you have a priority booking code can you book more than one holiday?

Also - i see they are selling these priority booking forms on ebay - has anyone ever bought one from ebay? is it safe or a scam?

i am thinking spending £25 on a priority code might be worth it if it gets you a cheaper holiday overall???

i am thinking maybe Haven golden sands - as i know other havens are better:rotfl:

maybe one of the less popular yorkshire havens - ie not primrose valley...

if we only put one set of dates ie half term but put 5 sites do you think we might get lucky?

Be careful picking the less popular sites. I needed to book a specific date during the last offer so that the kids didnt miss school and the only site available within reasonable travelling distance was Golden Sands in Wales, so I booked it only to find out later its a no dogs site! Luckily my Mum is able to look after the 2 dogs for a few days.

We've had some lovely holidays at Haven Golden Sands - with the dogs, although you cant take them on the main beach in Mablethorpe. But there's some lovely beaches just up or down the coast for them to run on.

Unfortunately if applying by post, you cant just put one date down

i am now tempted to buy a priority booking code from ebay...

BUT can anyone tell me exactly how they work? and when and what time do i need to get online to get the best chance of getting the dates i need?

i work saturdays but might be able to do it early in the morning - does anyone know what time you can book from?

and is it safe to buy a code from ebay?

I only ever put a couple of dates down when doing by post.. so far i've been lucky and got every date i've wanted, but i know family members who haven't been so lucky.

The booking site will probably be open late on 9th July. People on here usually crack the last code before it's actually out in the paper. Not guaranteed though of course!

I've got my priority through the post today!

Last time you were able to book muliple holidays with one code - but there is no mention (that I can see) if that is the case this time, so I guess we'll just have to see if they work more than once.
As for buying on ebay - my sister did that last time, she had no problems at all, but I can't say if every seller is genuine. If you do decide to buy one just try to buy from someone with good feedback.
