No freezer movements to report.
No dinner photo again - I am exhausted by having the house renovations done. Everywhere is thick with plaster dust/brick dust and wood dust. Floorboards are up all over the house. No heating - please pray the weather doesn't turn cold.
Dinner was HM wedges, roast pork, mushy peas and a poached egg.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

Florenceem - hope you are doing okay with the refurbishment. I really want to get a new kitchen and bathroom but will have to wait until early next year when I am due some money.
Today I have had stuff out of the fridge/freezer for lunch and dinner:j I had bacon beans and toast for lunch and for dinner I had a pastie from the freezer with the last of the root vegetable mash from Sunday. DD was moaning about the pasties for tea and has just made herself French toast.
I am still trying with eating less - its just not that healthy but I have definitely cut down on portion sizes.
I didn't get around to making the vegetable soup today so I will have to make it tomorrow, sot hat will be lunch sorted.
Kirri - my cholesterol reduction is probably due to the fact that I have been on statins for the last 6 weeks or so.Jane

Hey guys
Did a bit of shopping today, spinach, tomatoes and potatoes from the stall, high juice, cloudy lemonade and phileas chips from waitrose and those new muller yogurts which are yum and intro price of £1 2 electronic toothbrushes on at half price, a tub of Icecream half price hagen daaz a few sweets, spent 12 quid in sainsburys, the most I've spent in there in about 4 months.
I had a smoothie for breakfast, picked for lunch and then made ackee and saltfish with bacon, basmati and the rest of the veg white asparagus, broccoli and green beans and fried plantain, portioned a tub and put in the freezer, also put 2 mackrel fillets in, as I opened the pack, but won't have time to eat it, also made another smoothie using 1 tomato, a beet, a handful of spinach, half a tin of pineapple, a tin of mandarin and the last of a pack of forest fruit from freezer.
Off out early tomorrow, won't be home until thursday, I bottled some of the smoothie for breakfast on the go tomorrow, I'm at a workshop in the morning, then lunch with a friend, then another workshop at 7pm staying at my aunt's as we are hitting hatfield outlets on Thursday then Costco. wont buy loads in Costco.
Freezer is now very full, I'm going to see if I can go a month on £25 as a challenge f&v top ups mainly, usually if my freezer is full it lasts for 2 months so i will see how I get on,next week will need f&v for smoothies, but nothing else that i can think of.
Finally got my pc back yay and internet.Lose 28lb 3/28lb

Morning all.
Still feeling rough here. Yesterday was a wasted day except for getting my paint. Went straight to bed when I got back in. Just had a sandwich to eat. Supposed to be doing a course today but don't have the energy and am aching all over. Hopefully it can be rearranged.
Will probably be soup for meals. Won't be doing much cooking.
Hope I'm feeling better on Saturday, as having people over for a friend's birthday. Slightly annoyed that the place looks like a tip with being in the middle of decorating tho! There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.0 -
Morning all, cold and slight rain here!!
NSD yesterday. Not much needed today, if at all.
Lip_Stick - we're in decorating mode also (well I am) and had to hurry last night and order paint from Wilko's as their half-price Dulux offer ended at midnight!!
Hope you're feeling better soon.
Just plodding along today, teacakes for breakfast, spag bol later and yoghurt and bananas - easy.
I'm thinking of soup, see what I've got or need to make a batch.

Same here with the paint. Good offer that I couldn't pass up. Will be painting the hall and most of the lounge, but also need paint for the bathroom.... when it gets started. Supposed to be hearing today with a definite date about the bathroom. May start stripping a the bottom of the walls that need doing, and do it sitting down lol. There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. Morning all - dull and rainy here today.
Lynsey and Lip-stick - you make me feel terrible because my hallway really needs painting as does my kitchen, but I just can't seem to muster the enthusiasm to do it! I probably have enough paint up in the loft so I should probably go up there and see what's what.
Have got a large pan of hm minestrone soup in the slow cooker - lit smells lovely do I hope it tastes nice!Jane

Another NSD here, too busy preparing for decorating.
I'll need milk tomorrow though and bits and bobs.
Spag bol with pork mince was nice, added extra tomato puree.
Took out pork chops for tomorrow.
I need to ring the foodbank tomorrow and get rid of the delayed stuff.

Morning all.
Ended up having bean burger for tea yesterday from out the freezer, on it's own. Not aching as much today but feeling a bit sick. Got a job interview Monday so fingers crossed I'm ok by then.
Don't know about meals today, guess it'll be something quick and easy. There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.0 -
