JB - sounds interesting but slightly alarming - maybe I will give it a miss also :rotfl: Has anyone here tried Asafoetida??

    ).

Sorry just lurking. I use asafoetida in a Madhur Jaffrey Cauliflower and potato curry. It's a nice oniony flavour if you like that? Don't use too much as it is a strong flavour.

    Welcome to delurking :)
I do like that type of flavour - will investigate further.. presuming it's easy to get in the supermarkets?
Not one of my best efforts, I admit:rotfl:.

Had to laugh when I saw the recipe photo! Sounds good though, another recipe bookmarked..

    That recipe sounds lovely

Yep, works really well as in binds together which I was after.

I did a 2nd batch using a courgette instead of a carrot which didn't work so well at all... so really recommend sticking to the recipe!

was eating the 2nd batch tonight:

If the free crisps coupon was in the paper weekly Waitrose mag, I've stuck that in the pet bedding pile!

In other news I have been clearing out the freezing off the free frozen apples and making apple crumble. Have pulled out duck for dinner tomorrow also.

Slowly getting more room in there!

It seems to be mixed with other ingredients, wonder if that's because it's so strong?

The recipe above doesn't seem to be clickable..

Evening all, hope everyone well xx

Jane - wow that's some cheese addiction :D Better cheese than say Haagen Daz though !

Lots of yummy veggie recipes - OH and I fell over on that challenge :o Even more embarrassing cos I was a veggie for 11 yrs til I met OH :o For the tofu dishes I must recommend Taifun tofu with basil it's fantastic.

OH went to ASDA and bought some own brand eco-friendly cleaning products and some org yogurt at Sainsbury's for my breakfast tomorrow.

We've been using stuff from the fridge so far this weekend. OH is going to see his mother Sunday so she'll stuff him full of roast and I'm sure there are enough veggies and prosciutto and eggs for me to do omelette or salad.

I'm planning on getting seeds sown into pots and propagators tomorrow :j

Enjoy weekend there's supposed to be some actual sunshine about
