:T quintwins thats more than impressive!

So I'm going for toast for breakfast

Lunch will be chicken pasta and veg

Tea brown rice with salmon fillets or more mackerel depending what I have most of in the freezer and more veg!
I'm out of milk so I do need to get some tonight for cereals but I shall not to buy anything else

Hopefully coming back here will help me with my weight loss again! Got just less than 2 stone to lose

Also just got my gas and electricity bill
Always a good incentive to help me spend less!!

  • made a huge curry tonight with half a left over chicken - will be enough to freeze for another meal which is good. I don't often make curry from scratch but tonight I did and it is way nicer than using the jar of sauce - I used tomatoes, chicken stock, lentils, corriander, onions, apples and mango chutney with a bit of sugar and white wine vinegar and lemon juice.

I am toying with the idea of making a banana cake tonight as I have about 5 spotty bananas - I don't know though as I am trying to lose weight...... I might just peel them and wrap them in cling film - makes banana lollies!

Hope the kids are better quintwins.

Today didn't go well. I decided to tag along with my parent's and go to Asda as I needed a few things. I ended up spending nearly £40! I did get ds a top out of that but still spent £31 on food. Most of it was impulse buys too, including a fancy pork pie that was £2.50 that didn't taste much better than the supermarket own.

Managed to get a load of mushrooms reduced, which I plan to make beef and mushroom casserole with. Wondering what to do with the rest so ideas welcome. I'm also wondering why the heck I bought a large pumpkin. God knows what I'm going to do with that too!

Also, getting served at the till, ds threw up all over himself, the trolly and the floor. I'm glad my mum was there to clean him up! :D
There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.

    :D

I make garlic mushrooms and pasta,it's dead cheap! So I fry the mushies in a pan, with garlic cloves, throw in some cream cheese, add some water or veg stock,or creme fraishe, stir in the pasta, cooked of course and away you go! My hubby is well impressed with this!
