They ate a whole batch, bar one that I had, of horrible vegan banana and peanut butter biscuits before!

yes, got a feeling this 'cake' may go the same way. Everytime I get it out of the oven it still hasn't set/cooked, most peculiar.

Kirri - buy for 2 , plus whoever comes over for dinner once in a while!!
Just re-added 2013 budget and actually have only spent £192 which is a LOT less - think I must have started adding 2013 budget from december!

That's not too bad on the lower amount ^

2013 food spends = £46.06 and almost £14 to get to Thursday. Am I scared ................................... no way!!
    I might treat myself to a minimum £100 for February though. I fancy a M&S £10 deal.

    Lynsey

Lynsey:- Minimum of £100.00, are you feeling ok? Although you do deserve a M&S £10 deal

    Lol

I do deserve the M&S deal, but ONLY with the o2 Moments £2 off. :rotfl:

I'll probably have to wait until April though as I want to clear that freezer before Kirri. :p

I do fancy a binge (well a frugal one) though and £100+ in a month would be a "binge".

The gammon was out of the freezer.
We had gammon, HM garlic wedges and salad - lettuce, celery, red pepper, red onion + white onion. Enough salad left for hubby - 2 lunches.

Don't look at chipped plate - I still have my new Portmerion stuff in the box. Decided not to start using it until I have my new kitchen.

Evening all, today is quite cold though the snow is getting a quick shift kids not happy.

Thanks Lynsey, sure it will be fine x.

Lip_stick, you made me laugh about the time he ran off and you never noticed, that's not happened to me. My youngest dd when she was in the trolley used to shout to all the "old" ladies granny, granny until they would come over and start speaking to her, they all seemed to like it and she loved it as she was a chatterbox and loved the attention she just loved speaking to people, still the same and loves answering the phone and I'll say sorry dd answered the phone then they'll ask how old she is etc, there surprised at her age how she speaks on the phone. Her uncle phoned the other week and she didn't realise who it was and he was trying to get her to say her full name over the phone she said sorry I can't give you that information and if you can't tell me who you are I will be hanging up the phone, just as i came through and took the phone off her. She wasn't impressed when I told her who it was, mum was he trying to trick me I will get him back was her words.

Food today cereal for brekkie, lunch soup and dinner was a breakfast thing. I just had a bit of dinner.

Take care. Everyone catch up tomorrow.

Let us know how you get on with the Chocolate Cake in a Mug & Microwave; me and a colleague had lots of fun making it work on Friday lunchtime. Might try the Strawberry Pie in a Mug & Microwave next...:)
