Anyone got a decent recipe for wholemeal wraps? I've got a bag of wholemeal flour I want to use up, don't want to make bread and thought wraps would be a good idea as I've got quite a lot of bits and bobs in the fridge that would go well in wraps. Ive tried a search but they all seem to use White flour. Thanks0

Sorry zafiro1984 I haven't - could you not just substitute the white flour for wholemeal?0 -
Morning All, got the biggest chilli I have ever made in the slowcook today, have bulked out with mushrooms, onion, kidney beans etc might even throw a handful of value oats in later on.
Am going to make a chilli pasta bake - topped with unwanted crushed ready salted crisps (I have about 16 packets of them) and cheese.
I will freeze half and use it for a chilli and potato wedge bake at a later date
Kids home today - childminder had emergency - my little one is really playing up and being ill and having to deal with him hitting and punching (yes that lovely age) is exhausting0 -

Morning all.
Had toast for breakfast and hubby finished of some Linda Mc stuff and had a veggie brekkie.
I'm just snacking today and might have a ready meal tonight - hubby has curry for today and tomorrow.
Hoping for a NSD today, but will need milk tomorrow.
If I do miss Lidl this weekend and it'll be the first time I miss the cheap chocolate, then I might keep spends under £10 for the week. If I can do another 3 under £10 weeks, then I might just manage the 4 week £60 target - that Nestle Factory Shop order next week will be just over £21 - ordered now and don't want to cancel it.
To be honest, I could live on £10 weeks for ages and ages ....................... but won't as I'll miss the bargains!!

Morning all, well today i have had toast and having a bag of crisps just now, lunch soup and tea is going to be burger in a bun, chips and salad i think. Never managed to post yesterday as was at the dentist and had toothache as got a filling and it was a deep one close to the nerve and wow after was it sore the best of it was the tooth wasn't sore and never gave me any bother. The night before i had a spliting headache and was feeling sick so didn't think i was going to manage to go but they charge you a "fee" for late and cancelled appointments, wish i could charge them for being late haha. Have a nice day everyone, going to tidy the kids "bomb sites" sorry rooms soon.0

Lynsey I am finding my low budget quite easy tbh, I have had over £40 worth of goods free or discounted in the last week alone, including 2 Christmas puds £5 full price each, matchmakers at £2.20, ww meals £3, beans, Cadburys rolls, betty crocker cookies I spent £7 last week this week I've spent under £5 I eat really well, always get my 5 a day, just proves what can be done really.
Today I'm going to have sausage and mash for lunch, take out a ready meal from the freezer, i fancy seafood pasta and it will clear a bit of freezer room.Lose 28lb 3/28lb

ms_night_ryder - it's discipline I need, I love grabbing those bargains even though I don't need them.
I could manage 4-6 months at £10-£15 pr week and still eat well and probably not clear the freezers!!
I did really well at the start of the year as I was being extra frugal. I've got too much of my budget left and that's the problem. I should have tried to get to the "end" on £1200 and could have been done, but wasted quite a bit of late with £25'ish weekly spends!!
This weeks almost finished and 3 more strict weeks and then just December to go.
What I want to know though is .................................... who's grabbing my bargains when I'm not buying?? :rotfl:
Think I'll do a Green's cheesecake tomorrow when I get some new milk. Gammon and sweetcorn will be main meal and garlic prawn stir-fry on Saturday - sorted.

low cost chocolate? no problem with the job I have (working foh for a theatre)! case in point - I have an absurd eye for detail, and last week when I was in I noticed there was a branded chocolate that was going out of date, and all of them were in bags.
fast forward to tuesday night and I remembered this and went around to the various bars in the building. we found 50 - yes FIFTY - bags of these chocolates in total and had to waste them off! and then they got given out as freebies to the staff - although at last count there were still 35 bags littering up the managers office LOL.0 -
Donnajt don't know if you have a poundland near you but they sell Lloyd grosman sauces there 3 for £2.00, you can mix and match with the other sauces and there's rice and pasta. May help as i know i prefer the lg sauces they taste alot better than the supermarket ones i think.0
