Edwardia - nice to see you posting, hope you are well and the decorating is finished.
quintwins - at least you'll not starve. lol
All you need to do though now is just to tick-over and replenish with reduced items.
I remember having a "conversation" with gailey early in the year and my plan was to get the stash, fill freezers and cupboards with cheap stuff and then in effect you are buying for the future as current stock get used ...... keep the band-wagon rolling and keep food costs well down. It works well for myself anyway.
I got a scare today, had to replenish the coffee canister and now down to 3 x 150g re-fill packets of Nescafe.
It was on April 14th that I had 2.6kg of the stuff.
This is now a target and will try and arrange a visit to the Nestle Factory Shop next week and hope the £2 for 200g offer is on.
Just checked the sites and no great Nescafe offers are on. I reckon I have around 2 to 3 weeks to stock up!!
I think Morries had the £1.79 150g re-fill packs last time and hate to pay more than £2.50 per 200g.

Hey guys
looks like all are doing well - lynsey you may have inspired me to hunt out some coupons over the weekend, I love a good freebie me!!
I did well on the tesco wine "glitch" got about 18 little bottles for around the equivalent of 80-90p each! gonna use them as xmas pressies in some shape or form (probably adding chocolate) , OH called me an alcoholic! :rotfl:
Did well this week on freezer/cupboard use up - roasted a chicken sunday which fed us till wednesday- roast then fajitas, then chilli out of freezer to use up rest of wraps and added the salsa to tortilla chips to make nachos very nice!
Milk out of freezer this morning as we are running low (can almost see the back of the freezer now!) and may bake some cakes over weekend to use up eggs and butter that need using this week! other than that no shopping planned- have set myself the £400 till xmas challenge (started last week or week before!) this will involve a LOT of using up all the stores we have!0 -
Morning all.Deleted_User wrote: »Hey guys

Go grab those "freebies" - you need to max up with great offers.
I'll be using Heinz, Green's, Wright's and Campbell's (possibly) today.
My "Corner Shop" is expanding, but all for a good cause.
NSD yesterday, but will be buying today.
I need eggs and possibly milk.
Might pop into M&S also to get another couple of sponge rolls.
Out for lunch and had breakfast, last of tea-cakes toasted. Not sure what's for tea tonight yet??
Thinking of HM fish and chips tomorrow??
I want the biscuits and onions from Lidl tomorrow, but not the meat.
Have a great day and good luck to those couponing today.

Hi All!
Glad to see you are all still bargain hunting/clearing out the cupboards. I have been away with work for a while so haven't been around for a bit.
I have had 2 shops, one was mainly a lunch shop, one was a top up the cupboards shop...both had a good £20 of discounts associated with them
Our freezer is being re-stocked with food cooked to the Slimming World diet so that it is easy for me to re-start it in the new year.
May cook some Chilli and lasagne to freeze at the weekend, have got all the ingredients. Also may do a Tuna and Pasta bake to freeze as that will help get rid of some of the older tins/jars in the cupboard.
Going to do a meal plan for this week and see what we need rather than getting back to the old £50 per week shops! Aiming for about £25 this week, have lots of crisps and bread in stock so just lunch meat and salad needed really.
Hope you are all well
(Just updated my totals - I am cheating slightly but having toiletries and household items in the budget is probably going to be too difficult so this just reflects food).0
