    I've been Money Tipped!
    Morning all.

blackandwhitebunny - sorry it was finished. OP mustn't have realised.

Edwardia - I don't think I want to spend £10 on a thermometer, a fiver a possibility. It wouldn't get used that much and agree about wasting ingredients. Maybe I'll check out the pound shops. lol
I may have 1 attempt without a thermometer.

Soworried - thanks, getting to an Express is the problem. If I'm passing later I'll try it as £2 for 2 packs is ok anyway. I've never froze butter, but would at this price.

Just toast today, hubby has had boiled eggs.
    Pasta later.

Never bought the Mackies, see if it's still in stock on Saturday.
I'll shop today, but not much needed apart from sweetcorn (needed for tomorrow).
Tomorrow I'll have another garlic prawn stir fry, hubby will have the last 2 h/m fish-cakes with chips and peas.
Keeping beans coupons until hopefully someone else reduces them, but big dates on the coupons I printed and I'll get some for MIL Church Harvest Festival.
I've got 12 tins for Son's hamper, but he actually complains about giving him too much. Got told off last week that the toothpaste will last a year!!!!!!!!!!
How can you complain about not having to buy tooothpaste???

Lynsey - maybe his girl/boy friend doesn't like that brand of toothpaste or maybe he gets bored with using the same one all the time. Mackies crisps or ice cream ? Lidl had loads of their crisps when I was in there Monday. I buy butter and shove it in freezer all the time no probs, doesn't affect it at all

Don't think it's the brand Edwardia - Colgate Total and Oral B Complete, more possibly an issue of where to store all the stuff.
I'll let him select what he wants to take back when he comes here next month and that'll solve any issues.
Mackies ice-cream was wanted 2 litres for price of 1 litre - wait until Saturday as sometimes they still have left-over XXL stuff.

Soworried - I'm nipping out soon and fingers crossed for the butter.
The £5 Aldi voucher is for far too big a spend for myself (£35 minimum), but good if you can use it.

    Catch up later.

Do you know when the voucher is valid until? I'm planning a big shop at Aldi but need to wait until next week when we get paid.

    Thanks

  • Afternoon all.

I have made a melon, blueberry, strawberry and ginger smoothie, had that and 2 fish fingers, 2 veggie fingers and a handful of chips.

No shopping for me today, might go to zumba, i saw in mr t's they have andrex washlets and the spiced wedges at £1 so 50p with coupon, also noticed that tesco ss tills only accept one coupon and then you need to get somebody to verify the others, will be avoiding tescos for that reason lol except to get wedges and washlets will put through in seperate transactions lol.

Have taken out some sausages, will make meatballs and pasta in a campbells soup tomato sauce, today or tomorrow.

£33 spent in Costco. Didn't buy anything unplanned though :D

Need to update my totals but think I am sub-£400 now eek! Need to save at least £150 for the big meat buy in October.

Sadly no cheap Lurpak, the shelves were bare!!

Did buy 2 packets of Red Sky crisps (59p) from Home Bargains and got my sweetcorn from Iceland @ £1. I don't normally go in Iceland and that sorted my sweetcorn once I notice the offer.
Never got to large Tesco, but need to go for L'Oreal wipes.
    Spends so far = £2.18

Soworried - thanks for the Aldi coupons post, I noticed the olive oil offer and when I went to get a bottle from my stash today ............ there was none left (well only garlic infused).
Went out and local shop only had 1 Mirror left, but might pop out later and get another one.
I'll get the eggs, olive oil, cheese singles, feta, choc biscuits and pesto for Son.
I'm now toying on making up a £35 spend with Toro Loco wine (keep for Xmas, well some).
Do you think they'll take 2 sets of coupons for the above and 1 £5 off £35, or just the one set of coupons and the £5 one??
Thinking of getting a 2nd paper anyway and double the above.

Ah the harvest festival! We only celebrated it in primary school. I loved the bread the priest brought us :D

ammonite how are you feeling now? Hope it has passed a little, that constant nausea and/or vomiting is awful. However, having said that once I was sick I always felt a little better so made a point of being sick every day as weird as that sounds :o

Thank you everyone. Baby is fine. Realised why he had the bad belly, I should have used chicken instead of cod :rotfl: I need to listen to the TV more carefully!

Another problem again. Damn cat escaped and hasn't yet come back. Been out cat hunting and she's nowhere to be seen. However her brother keeps winding himself around my legs and almost tripping me up. The wound was lovely and pink so I'm trying to not get too worried but who knows what she's getting into out there. She's a beautiful girl, pure white with one green and one blue eye. I'll be devastated if we lose her :(

Last night I made a turkey lasagne using up 500g turkey mince, carton of plum tomatoes, jar of tomato sauce, a jar of white sauce, 1/4 block of cheese and several lasagne sheets. Was lovely but beef mince works so much better. Bloody oven kept tripping the electrics so had to use the smaller top oven. I'm hoping OH can fix it rather than fork out more cash. My bank account can't handle it!

Just realised I need dog food so need to make a quick trip to the shop and will get the aldi coupon whilst I'm there. Thanks for posting!
