Cheers caz, that recipe will be really useful as I always have a few potatoes going green in the fridge lol. You've also made me want to invest in a potato ricer. sis bought one not so long ago so have been meaning to question her on it lol.
Peanut butter m&ms sound lush! I love the peanut butter kitkat.. so I would love those! Are they just an american thing? There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.0 -
I ummed and arr-ed lots about getting a potato ricer, I am trying only to buy things if I need them now, I even picked one up a couple of times and then put it back, but I got one in March this year, and I am so glad that I did, if only because I use less butter on the potatoes now! I had carpal tunnel in my first pregnancy quite badly, and although it has gone now, and luckily didn't come back too much in my second pregnancy, my wrists still feel weaker than they used to, and I found the potato ricer is just easier on them, and it means that I can use my non-stick pans to cook the potatoes in, if my one non-stick one has been used for something else!! I got mine in Ikea.
I think peanut butter m&ms are just american. I've not seem them over here. They are delicious, but very sickly!! You can also get almond ones, and I think my friend said coconut ones now. Haven't tried those, may ask him to bring me back some when he goes next year!0 -
I REALLY want to try those peanut butter m&ms!!! Bet the coconut ones are foul lol.
Need a ricer as when I make mashed pots, I always have one rouge spud that hasn't softened quite as well as the rest so I think that would help.
Got some squid in the oven right now, saves me sending for a takeaway! A good squirt of lemon juice with black pepper.. yummm. There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. Trying to avoid actually going in person to the shops for a bit as no really good coupons around atm and ended up spending too much money; so I am getting a sensible shop from Waitrose every 10 days so I can take advantage of their £75 off over 5 shops deal
£75 off over 5 shops? What's that about? My Waitrose has just started delivery!Jane
