Thanks both. He's better than he was a few days ago but refuses to be put down. My arms go numb from him laying on them :rotfl:
I also love to see other peoples bargains, not sad at all
Right I'd best go sort some washing before he wakes up and realises I'm not there.Wife and mother :jGrocery budget

Morning all
Hope all feeling poorly are getting better. Weather is torrential here. Not nice at all.
Had beef teriyaki with pepper, onion, courgette and rice for tea last night. Was ok. Was a blue dragon sauce and I'm going off those.
No idea what's for tea tonight. Promised ds I would take him to mcdonald's so guess that's what we'll be doing. Need to visit a supermarket for some essentials... like toilet roll.
Need to do some washing, ironing and booking of train tickets from london to legoland. Not long now! There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.0 -
Chicken breasts out of the freezer today for dinner. I got colemans chicken chassuer for 10p. I'll serve it with mash and peas.
Half a loaf of bread has gone in this morning so no space at all. I need to stay out of the shops for a while and just start using things up.:o£36/£240

Morning.
Woke up hungry and had toasted hot cross bun early with morning coffee.
Still half a pack of diced chicken breast to use up, might get hubby to make a curry for himself.
Think I'll just have a jacket potato and scones to eat.
Only going to Sainsbury's later, no other shops - keeping pennies for tomorrow.
I was expecting a £30+ week this week, but will probably come in under due to missing the Lidl meat offer.
Don't need loads, just some basics.
Weather is cr4p today, not the flash floods going around, but wet and horrible!!
Shame, as yesterday was lovely and first time in ages we sat in the garden - good job he put the chairs etc away last night. lol
Nice Groupon deal today and decent Living Social offer might take them both??
I want to do loads of good offers as they come available.
Summer is a nice time to do them ....................... anyone know when summer starts??

Just booked my train tickets from London to Windsor for our trip to Legoland. Getting nervous and still debating if I should take the pram or not. Ds will probably get tired, but then I can see lugging a pram around on the underground will be a nightmare! Think I might go without and make sure we have plenty of stop breaks. We're not going to that many places so should be ok.
I think the ex is trying to worm his way in for having his tea here. He mentioned that ds said to him his Aunt came for tea and ds asked his dad 'why can't you come for tea?'. hmmmmm
Lynsey - I think summer started in April and ended around May this year! It turned out nice here yesterday teatime. The sky actually had very little clouds! Complete transformation now.
Have heard a few bad things about Living Social, in that in the deal falls through it's very hard to get a response out of them. There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. Hi,
I've been a bit of a lurker of this and wondered if I could join you? I currently have a fridge/freezer and a 6foot freezer, both of which are full to bursting with food, a lot of which I've got yellow stickered and i really need to be eating it!
OH seems to think its not used, but the truth is as soon as i have space it's filled with something else!

It's going to be a good and bad day for using stuff up I think - got some mince, chicken livers and red wine out as I am going to make Spag bol this eve so that was good. However I got an Approved Food Nutrichef flapjack to eat on the way to work for breakfast and forgot it! Also didn't sort lunch as was out 'galavanting' (as my mother would say!) last night and couldn't be bothered to look in the freezer this morning!!
Weekend will be a useless effort as we are round his parents tomorrow night and round mine on Sunday so may be able to use a couple of bits up for lunches. Doing a carboot on Sunday so that hopefully will make some pennies.
Lynsey - I looked at my Loreal vouchers and they are all stuff I don't want even though I ticked haircare (which is what I would want vouchers for!) Do they change every month?
Hope everyone who is ill (including little people!) gets well soon!!Since starting again after beanie: June 2016: Child development DVDs, Massive Attack tickets. July: Aberystwyth trip, hotmilk nightie. Aug: £10 Hipp Organic vouchers, powerpack. September: Sunglasses. October: £30 poundland vouchers.0 -

We've never had any issues with them and done well out of the M&S vouchers (please repeat). Only ever issue was when we referred someone and there was a glitch on their site which gave the credit in dollars!!! Quickly sorted though .............. thankfully.
Booked it anyway as I had a £5 credit (so only £3 and hopefully 11% cashback from Quanti).
Booked 2 Groupons also as favourite Italian (so far) - expensive, but worth it - used 2 x £8 credits (none left until next week), but they were £11 (full price) for a 2 course meal!!!. We've been waiting for this restaurant to come back and the timing was nigh on perfect.
cazj80 - welcome to the thread - sounds loke you have a promlem?? Should fit in well here then.
Good luck, looking forward to you posting your bargains.
quintwins - good luck with the Dentist.
