Morning all. Have decided to have salmon for tea tonight, no idea what with, but probably pasta I think. Lunch will be something light... miso soup I guess.

Freezer has a bit more space in. Two of the drawers I can fit at least a couple of things into. Got a chocolate cheesecake in one which will be used at the weekend so there'll be a bit more. Really intend on using stuff up in the middle drawer (cuts of meat etc) but nervous about it as my luck with whoopsies ran out about a year ago. :(

Found some pork medallions in the freezer which I bought as a YS in Jan. Got sick of seeing them. Had 2 cut up and put into a Sharwoods Curry sauce which I had in the cupboard for months along with some mushrooms.

Tonight, I am frying them in some steak seasoning with carrots, courgette and JR pots.

Using up left overs for dinner tonight. Left over champ and cabbage from our dinner on Monday with left over chicken. I will make it in to bubble and squeak cakes and stir fry the chicken in chilli butter I think. Nothing should go in to the freezer but 3 buns are defrosting for our lunch.
EDIT: Forgot to say that I'm going to make chicken noodle soup with the carcass and some sorry looking spring onions I have in the fridge for lunch for tomorrow.

I know the feeling florenceem, I'm dying to bake something but I'm proud that I haven't the last two days (except DS Bday cake ) and that I'm starting to use things up. :)
Slight change of plan yesterday, the chicken went in to the freezer and out came mushroom burgers instead. I'll use the chicken up at a later date.
Lunch will be chicken noodle soup with toast. Dinner I'm undecided yet, need to have a nose around in the freezers. :o

    FLO, that bread looks amazing.

Out of the freezer this morning cam a slice of herman cake and half a mini porkpie (ds made me cut a frozen pie in half cos he couldn't manage a full one...) for packed lunches.

Then I found some bacon that needs using up in fridge so have dug out two YS free range chicken breasts an I shall make stuffed chicken breast for dinner for us and the kids can have some pasta as they haven't had that yet this week. Might dig a salmon fillet out to put in with that as well as the smoked sausage that needs using from the fridge. Mm sounds nice that!

Actually looks like we may have a bit of room in the freezer which makes life a bit easier when searching for things! OH is digging out a tandoori chicken to do for Sunday so that there is easy food when I get back from my weekend away.

Will not be shopping to add to freezer before I go so that is good. Although do want to get some cappachino sachets from mr t while they are on offer as I have found decaf unsweetened ones and I really like them! my treat.

hope u feel better soon Quintwins.

Florenceem please can I have that bread recipe? That looks yummy!

Morning, trying to think of something nice for tea but i'm feeling a bit not bothered if you know what i mean. Meal plan says bbq pulled pork but a, i dont feel like it and b i havnt made any wraps. Might have baked pots with salad for tea. Need to find some space to put turkey steaks in the freezer, they will have to be put in freezer bags, no space for the boxes. I want to do a meal plan for next week but i am waiting for my takeaway secrets books to be delivered.
Hope your feeling better soon quintwins. enjoy your day all.

lol as if i'd acually get a day lol, thanks everyone i've perked up abit now i think sometimes lying in bed for an few hrs helps.

Change of plan i decided to make a veg bake to go with our sausages, i'm making it now ready to just turn the oven on later, so i have cauliflower and brocolli cooking now (i like them very soft) have peeled some carrost ready to grate, gonna slice up a few mushrooms and add a handful of frozen sweetcorn, peas and runner beans, then i'll be topping it with a mixture of AF cheese and parsley sauces and topping with cheese, fingers crossed it's nice becaus ei've made double for my lunch tomorrow and a portion for the freezer.
