    evening

i have had my dinner, noticed that the pasta bake was for 2, lets say its a generous 2! so had some, with the last of the garlic bread from the freezer, made a coleslaw and had peas, carrots, cabbage and sweetcorn with it.

have put in the freezer, 4 cheese muffins, left one for tomorrow and froze 3 big wedges of cake, so have about 2 slices of cake left in the cupboard, have whole milk to use up, so will have a pack of redundant muesli for brekkie.

i have already had a slice of cake so wont have another lol.

Evening all. Had a nice dinner at mam's, kinda of bbq style, but done in the oven lol. Had marinated chicken, a beef burger and she cooked the pork ribs I bought from Morries. I bought a jar of blue dragon sticky rib sauce, so they were done with that, and I didn't rate it at all. The sauce had a bitter taste to it. Much prefer asda's own rib sauces.

Just took a beef meatloaf with a tomato and red wine sauce out of the freezer. Will be far too much for ds and I for tea tomorrow, but not sure how I can use up the leftovers to create something a bit different. hmmmm

Soworried - welcome to the thread.

    cleggie - welcome back.

NSD day and never entered a shop again.
    Done all the ironing!!

Printed off a few coupons and off to Morries tomorrow to do Brother's shopping and hope to pick up a few bits.

The chicken en croute "whoopsie" was really nice and wish I had took more, still one left for another day.

pixiefairydust - regarding veg, we've just had "tasty tatties" with our chicken and may be an option??
Diced potatoes and diced onion and I fry first in a wok and then add peas and sweetcorn and finish in the oven - really nice.

Bacon to finish off tomorrow for breakfast, took out the sliced beef from Xmas and having hot beef sandwiches mid-day and Groupon Italian tomorrow night.
I've got some gammon ham to take out for the sandwiches for the plane and just get the buns tomorrow from Morries.
Up early on Tuesday, about 5.30am, so nothing needed and just a coffee. Kept 2 packets of crisps for the plane also and still got the fudge.
Weather looks hot at the minute, hope it lasts .............. but knowing our luck. :D

morning all, yesterday i used 2 tins of soup for the kids at tea time (we had sun dinner at in laws) i had some lo chinese from the freezer from a few weeks back and hubby has a few stray sausages and a few chips each, then i finished off a tub of ice cream, and he eat half of a tub aswell will prob finish the last of that tub off tonight between us, we don't usually buy ice cream but as we're sick it's a nice treat.

I did that tesco shop using all the prioce flop codes, it will put me over budget but all the fruit will keep and i'm gonna freeze some of the veg

Have some chicken in the fridge i lifted out on thur i think it's prob gonna need to go in the bin :( i'll sniff it and see but i prob won't risk it so off to dig in the freezer for something for tea.

ok chicken def not good, dogs are enjoying it, i'm gonna make a big pot of stew.

Morning all. Weather doesn't know what it wants to do today. Got caught out in the rain without an umbrella.

Realised I'd left some shopping in Dad's car yesterday so had to phone up and he's coming to drop off my bread etc. Bet he won't be impressed, especially since he asked me when I got out the car 'Have you got all your shopping?'. :o

Just eating a bit of black olive hummus with melba toast for brekkie as the hummus needs using up. Not sure what to do with the meatloaf this evening. Probably do courgette and sweetcorn with mash.

Need to find space in the freezer for some finest burgers I picked up. Sure I've got some mash in the freezer that I can drag out tonight, for the space.

    Morning all.
Spent the morning on the phone and all problems sorted [STRIKE]for the time being[/STRIKE] and relax time - went better than expected. lol

Breakfast done and devoured (posh word for me) and well in control today - thank God.
Just lunch to sort and buns to buy and gammon ham to take out and out tonight for Italian (already picked what I'm eating).
Cases to pack late afternoon, euros all sorted and hopefully won't forget anything.

Lip_Stick - not too sure if you drink wine?? :D
Posted an Asda rose offer last night on the Grabbit's, fairly decent wine for £3 per bottle.

Off to Morries soon and hoping they've the Dettol in to use coupons - don't need any, but another "investment" ............... I think.

    Have fun.

Thanks Lynsey.... guess I'm off to Asda today lol. One more thing.... when was the last time you used Dettol? Don't think I've had any in the house for years.

    Dettol??
Use it all the time, got loads last year when I [STRIKE]ab[/STRIKE]used the coupons, still got loads of bleach. This is for the bathroom sprays (£2 in Morries and £1 with coupon).
Still got some Dettol wipes left from last year also, but mainly Cif wipes left now.

Without the coupons, I wouldn't buy Dettol.

Ah, ok. I thought you meant the old traditional dettol. Use their new products myself too.
