OH buys 4 cheese or tiger rolls for £1 at Tesco Express but that's OK as I don't eat bread at all :)

    Evening all

I've a confession to make. I always buy Warbutons, at full price. Not sure how long I'll last with getting this wright's stuff before I buy a 'proper' loaf. I'm sure I'll be needing a large, even slice of it sooner or later.

Edwardia - you made me :rotfl: with the peanut butter.

BE - how did you add the cheese spread? lol.

Kirri - my mam has started using those juicy bag things, I'll be checking the calories next time she does! Someone told me once that Morrisons cooked extra tasty chickens, or whatever they're called, just have veg fat injected under the skin!

Lynsey - how long before you go away?

    Hey guys
Was watching man vs food and got hungry, so had 2 slices of the crusty bread from waitrose toasted, some of the gravy on top of the buttered toast and the slow cooked jerk pork on too, was delicious.

    Tomorrow, 1pm flight.
Weather may be iffy, so might take netbook (couple of things on ebay) - always a trip to Algarve Shopping also.

No more spends until Saturday and basics needed again - hope Lidl's meat offer is NOT meatballs. lol

Been a "Busy Bee" today, got loads of gardening and housework done, chill and relax now - all the hard work done.

Hope you have a fab time Lynsey! Bet you're looking forward to a bit of r&r after all that painting. :D

ms_night_ryder - what you have just had sounds a lot better than what I've just had. Had the munchies so opened up a mushroom toast topper jar I bought from m&s. Need to add cheese and mayo to it. Well it tasted vile, it had a strong taste of vinegar. Feeling sick just thinking about it.

Thanks for the wishes, just a little break, nothing exciting and yes, getting away from the painting will help!!!! Still a bit to finish when we get back though!! Why on earth do people paint walls bright colours?? Probably to make it hard for others to re-paint. lol

Just browsing the Good Food Channel website and some lovely pasta dishes, might try a few??

Have a great holiday Lynsey - will you be visiting any supermarkets?! I always like to see what they have that is different when I travel and often bring food home..

Lip_Stick/Edwardia, not that I will probably ever eat a chicken again but it wouldn't surprise me with what they do with the meat these days to try and 'improve' it...
