    I've been Money Tipped!
    Morning.

Just got back from Lidl and today will be my biggest days spend of the year so far!!

    8 packs of diced chicken.
    4 pints of milk.
    1/2 dozen eggs.
    2 packs of biscuits.

Spent so far - £13.11 - but a bargain and lots for money.

Kirri - nice swede recipe, I'll try that - thank you.

Jane - the Asda mag has loads of cauliflower recipes in for some reason.

Had toasted hot cross bun (again) for breakfast and chicken kievs with roasted veg for tea tonight.

I may not shop again today and thinking of making some bread, get to dough stage in bread-maker and finish in oven.
If I do pop out I might treat myself to a cream cake.

don't be ashamed! I like 'value packet mash' and living on my own, can't be bothered sometimes to make real mash and happily use the packet stuff!

Know what you mean, I tend to have rice & pasta instead of potatos as just don't get through them fast enough.

Today for lunch/dinner will be meatballs & pasta ready meal, whoopsied & a nice quality one...glad I got it, got a cold at the moment so the though of cooking from scratch...no!

Yesterday's spends were tea bags & orange juice from the 99p store. Staying in this weekend so shouldn't have any food spends.

Kirri - when making just the dough in your bread-maker, do you form the buns and let them rise again??
Just put a Wrights bread mix on.

Made some spiced parsnip soup and added my last carrot.

Frozen 7 packs of diced chicken and still some room left. lol
Probably make a curry later and freeze that also.

Hi, yes, I knead it a little, just to get the air bubbles out, shape it and leave it for an hour ish to rise again. Which variety are you doing? If it's the ciabatta one it's twice the size of any normal dough and rises extra fast.. Well done on getting your bread maker out :D

I'm just thinking of making pancakes for lunch.

More mashed cheesy swede and veg sausages for dinner.

Just had a bizarre Met Office weather warning email for snow tomorrow! Am too lazy to go to the shops today so hope it's not right!!!

Thanks Kirri - just in time. lol
Machine just "pinged". I'm just making a Wrights plain white mix, thought I had some bread flour, but was wrong!! I must start using that yeast!!

The dough was lovely, well impressed. I'd imagine pizza dough would be brill also??

I've kneaded and made 6 buns and a plait - give it an hour or so and bake.

Snow warning!!!! I thought it was summer these last few days. lol

Yes pizza dough is very good in the bm, plus you just take it out shape it and cook it straight away, no 2nd rising so even quicker to eat!

Sun is out and the window is open here so will be surprised if it happens tomorrow! thought we were just in for rain..

Just eating a crusty bun now, hot and just with Lurpak.
Much nicer done in the oven rather than in the bread-maker.

Probably have another one in a minute.
No bread for the birds today. lol

    quintwins - what's this £1 clothes thing??

Might nip to Asda to use some £2 Loreal skincare coupons, they have stuff @ £2, so free (my favourite price). :D
See if I can get 2 handwash thingys.

Hello everyone, are you feeling spring like yet ?? Arsenal beat Liverpool yay !!!

Had free range boiled eggs for breakfast, OH went to get haircut and mooch around town picking up the small stuff like kitchen rolls from 99p Stores. Whole rainbow trout (2 for £4 ASDA) with asparagus for a very late lunch. Doing Kirri's swede recipe for dinner :)

Done as many low carb offers as I could find on Sainsbos website in the low carb supermarket bargains thread. Get cheesed off with ppl having a go tho. I feel like saying I've got a damaged pancreas wot's your problem ? Grr..

Done Lidl, 99p Stores, Co-op, Sainsbury's off to look at Budgens..
