Finally got round to eating the Sainsbury's Taste The Difference venison and it's NOT as good as the Highland Game diced venison from Morrisons, which surprised me.

Freezer looking a bit depleted so raiding Lidl and ASDA Thurs to refill. Getting more fish.. ASDA has whole sea bass £4, 2 rainbow trout stuffed with spinach and ricotta £4, whole sea bream £4, whole sardines £2/kg, whole mackerel £3/kg and in the fresh meat, 500g packs of organic beef mince 2 for £6. If fresh fish counter sadly depleted will visit Morrisons

I spent a SHOCKING amount last night....1. food is just expensive. 2. OH has a new full time contract so money isn't so tight anymore (it feels so good to pay allthe bills today AND Still have money to live off!) so I don't feel the need to superscrimp AS much.

WW bagel for lunch, last one :( OH had rolls with reduced beef and a few bits. Dinner tonight, not sure, we had Steak/WW meal last night, Maybe something pasta or chicken related.

    Morning.

Anyone wanting cheap towels (lilac) - Tesco have the towel bale back in stock at only £4.10 for 6 towels - be very, very, quick though, they'll all be gone in 1/2 hour. Collect from store, order online.
    Towels HERE

Hot cross buns for breakfast, beef casserole later and snack through the day.

The towels are an excellent deal...but tbh I've got more than enough. Much as I love new towels, storage would be a problem for me.

ETA: OOS - wow, that was quick!

Morning all! This time in exactly two weeks I'll be en route to Disney!!!! :j :j Woooohooo!!!

I googled world's scariest roller coasters yesterday and showed a video of one to ds. Told him we were going on it. His face was a picture! I'm so mean sometimes haha.

Just had a small bit of baguette with some of the blue cheese spread. Yum. Not got a clue what I'm doing for meals today. Soup for dinner perhaps. Maybe do something with pasta for tea and one of the mozzarella? Mind you, had pasta the other day. Might have sausages then, need to get them out the freezer tho!

Bramble, glad to hear things are on the up for you. :)
There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.

It actually glorious here in the North East today, unbelievable weather - might have to check the coupon thread to see if there are any coupons for suntan lotion. :rotfl:

lyra - my son loves falafel.

    Remember those M&S £15 vouchers??
One I got for free was spent yesterday at an M&S Outlet and I managed to pick up a red coat, reduced to £17.50 - so only cost £2.50. lol

£65 price tag originally, though originally only £32.50 in the Outlet shop.

hi all filled all the gaps in my freezer with 9p bread and 10p pancakes yesterday :)

diets still going sort os,but it's sooo expensive, i've spent £102 last week and £80 this week, i shouldn't need much next week tho as we're well stocked up.

breakfast was toast and yogurt, lunch was pasta with prety much every type of veg in my fridge (it wasn't great i made it with laughting cow cheese, i won't do that again in a hurry) dinner is going to be pasta for the kids, and slimming world chips and friend egg for us, i'll have fried onions, mushrooms and tomatoes, this all rounds so unhealthy :rotfl:

we had a pie yesterday it was reduced possibly not good for my waist line but nice for my purse :) and the day before we had chinese
