Gosh Kirri, what an impressive list, and what a good idea to highlight the ones you won't replace. I sometimes get stuck in the rut of buying a replacement as soon as the item has been used. For lunch I have used up a packet of savoury rice. Bought as it seemed a good idea and then its been sat for months taking up shelf room and then I panic to use things as they are approaching their dates. Also emptied a carton of ice cream nom nom, though I have a feeling at some point that will get replaced!!
    I'm not a failure if I don't make it, I'm a success because I :tried!

My hg onions are not ready yet you are lucky:-)

They could probably have stayed in a bit longer but they were "growing" out of the soil so decided to dig them up anyway. As the tops hadn't died down so could have stayed in really.

Looks fab :T Have bookmarked for use!

Also meant to say WP - let me know how you get on with the courgette book - laughed at that quote!
Gosh Kirri, what an impressive list, and what a good idea to highlight the ones you won't replace. I sometimes get stuck in the rut of buying a replacement as soon as the item has been used.

Yep I used to automatically rebuy things too, just before they ran out but although I was never a food hoarder/stock pile-ist I did used to buy lots of different things I liked the look of or to make recipes with, then never had the time to actually use them.. it's been a very long 2? years using things up and I never had an awful lot to start with especially compared to the meat eaters on here probably.

I'm also running down my non vegan items, think I have 4 things left that are non vegan, as well as the fresh dairy items I am still currently buying like eggs, butter, cheese, yoghurts.

I've just had lunch, very filling meal for me at a lunchtime but gorgeous:

Updated spreadsheet, most items in red are things I've highlighted as being either things I don't really fancy, stuff I won't replace as they are things I don't use.
    Peanut butter

To use up the peanut butter, how about
    Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies

    or
Double Chocolate Peanut Butter Courgette Bread (to use up some courgettes as well:))

    or
Carrot & Courgette Peanut Butter Stuffed Mushrooms (and miss out the carrot and just use more courgettes)

    Tahini

    Hummus, obviously:)

Tahini Mash: Put 650g sweet potato in a large pan of water, cover with a lid and boil for 10-12 mins until tender. Drain, reserving a little of the cooking water, and leave to steamdry. Tip the sweet potato into a food processor with 2 tbsp tahini, 4 tsbp olive oil and plenty of seasoning. Whizz until smooth, adding enough of the cooking water to make a smooth pur!e.

Fantastic recipes, thanks for finding for my difficult ingredients :T I have 1 large mushroom in the fridge, was going to have it in my pasta tonight but may try the peanut butter and courgette mushroom now! Would never have thought of some of these recipes!

Serious brownie points if you find a use for a huge bag of bran though :rotfl:
