i would like to say a huge thanks to op of the next sale code i ordered about £110 worth of stuff which arrived the next day,all of the items were unmarked with the sale dot, i braved the sales yesterday and picked up some of the stuff again with a gift card i had, i have today returned all of the stuff instore and had it credited to a refund card so i now have got 7 pairs of trousers 3 tops ,2skirts and a dress for dd and about 7 outfits, sleepsuits, snow suit and coat for new baby i will have to pay next directory bill for £110 but had £104.00 on gift card so all for the grand total of about £6
thanks again0 -

So basically, you have been dishonest and misrepresented the price you bought the goods at in order to obtain an unfair pecuniary advantage. This is tantamount to theft and by bragging about your dishonesty on here you are more likely to have this 'honest perk' removed for everyone else's benefit. But don't worry, you got all your clothes for £6.0 -
hiya
actually reading my post i know the way it looks but actually i had already purchased these items for my new baby instore before the sale code was posted but i have managed to pick them up again and get a gift card sorry if it came across like that but i have not defrauded anyone only getting back what i had already purchased originally with cash and lost the receipt with goods that i had actually returned when i found out i was pregnant all i meant by stating the clothes were unmarked was the fact that it does not look like they were purchased in the sale
also i am not worried that i got my clothes for £6 because i have done nothing wrong infact i am quite pleased with myself as i stated in my original post all i wanted to do was thank the op not get into a debate about how you think i have defrauded next !!!!!!!!!
also just to prove my point if you look at some of my other posts i did actually state i had already bought the items prior to the sale
sorry if i have offended anyone with this post that was not my intention
thanks boots0 -
I don't think Boots1 has done anything wrong - after all, some stores (such as GAP) offer you the option to claim back the difference should you purchase something which they later reduce in price, provided it is done within a certain timescale. That is all boots1 has actually done - and I know that some MSE'ers on here have said before that they have bought things before the sale, and then taken them back and done the exact same thing.keasden wrote:So basically, you have been dishonest and misrepresented the price you bought the goods at in order to obtain an unfair pecuniary advantage. I bought a leather jacket from M & S for £150 before xmas that had still got all the tags and then it was reduced on xmas day to £89. So I ordered the reduced one and took the other back!!! T & C give 90 days to return goods!!! So what is wrong with that????

sorry, the way i read boots thread was that she got the stuff half price, then took it back and got a refund for full price. If I've got that wrong i apologise.:rudolf:0

As per mirandamayhem, I too read read boots1 post as though she had returned items purchased using the sale code and then obtained the full amount on a gift card.
As she has now explained that this is not what she has done then I apologise unreservedly to her for making a wrong assumption.
There have been other posters on the HotUkdeals board bragging about doing exactly as I described above, ie returning items to Next stores which had been bought at half price using the Sale code (which was available prior to the sale starting) and claiming full price back as a refund. It is this practice which I am so against as this is theft and is totally different to the situation others describe where you claim a refund on an item bought at full price which is subsequently reduced in a sale.
Anyway, on to the point, sorry boots1.0 -
