I got my refund last week after ages of sending endless amounts of emails to beauty stop with no reply, i contacted kgb they were so nice they apologized and refunded me straight away the same day. I heard a rumour this week that some of the products on beauty stop are actually fakes :-(

Where did you hear this from? I think from the point of view of the business this is libel unless you can prove it. It is also quite damaging to their (already damaged) reputation.

I bought a benefit eyeshadow palette there and it looks pretty genuine. I have been sent fake benefit items before from ebay and fingers crossed have been able to tell whether products are genuine or fake.
  • Hi anybody who has recieved their order should get it in to boots and have it verified as authentic
I recieved the benefit smokin eyes kit this week and i took it along to boots as i had heard there were fakes on the site and i have it confirmed as a fake
I have contacted trading standards and next i will be pursuing a refund

    thanks
  • Hey got an email from beauty stop couple of days ago that they didn't have what I wanted in stock and to choose from a list of 6 perfumes and 3 tanning items they did have. (with first and second choices). Got my stuff through today and although I got my second choice perfume I'm still really happy with my stuff and so is my sister the fake tan junkie. All looks genuine, so I'm happy :D

Feel like I will have a look at beauty stop when it comes to buying christmas pressies etc and won't rule them out because of this.

Just because someone in boots decided this product is fake that doesn't mean it is for sure, maybe the product you rec'd is just older packaging/product.

Good im glad you have, I work for benefit and have heard that this site is selling counterfeit goods, it was also reported on Benefit's Facebook group that beauty stop is not an authorized official stockist of benefit,so its fake or stolen.

Hi, how can you check who is an approved stockist?
    thanks

I had it checked at Boots, John lewis and Debenhams all 3 confirmed it was fake and pointed out the differences between mine and their own. It would be strange if all 3 were wrong on this.

  • I've written an email to KGB and am awaiting a full refund from them. I've emailed Beauty Stop so many times with my order, but still nothing! I think I'd rather save myself £10, than wait for this order to ever appear.
I hate twitches, but I LOVE glitches!!!
  • I bought the Chloe perfume - Any chance it could be fake as I don't know how to tell?

This whole deal goes from bad to worse!!! :(
