I'm in, although I'll see what this week brings health wise.

Cyclingyorkie, I think you need to have a chat with your hubby, what he did is not fair or kind. Glad you had a lovely time on your trip.

Thanks for the lists! I am not sure how much i will get done tomorrow, but i'll aim for level 1 at least.

Thanks again for all the painkiller advice! I've been using a cold bag o peas on and off as well as rinsing with salt too. I've not eaten since tea cause i'm scared of getting something caught in there. Not a bad situation, since i could do with a night off the cake. :D My mum took me to casualty tonight and the lovely doctor there took a look and thinks i have an infection, so i came home armed with codeine and antibiotics. After a codeine the pain is so much more bareable.

Yes, i am now aware of the risks of takign tooo many painkillers after googling it after i got my hand slapped by the NHS. It just didn't occur to me that i'd taken that many with it being night time etc. But by the time i'd counted up with them on the phone it ended up being 12. Oops! Thankfully, the next lady i spoke to told me i could continue taking them (after checking the dosage i'd had against my weight and deciding the risk was low from my previous slight overdose) but i was just to keep within the safe amount. I forced myself to go 6 hours this morning because i knew afternoons are worse. That's actually why i went to casualty. I was really worried about overnight since i'd used up my last dose of paracetamols and ibuprofen at 8pm and an hour later it had barely scratched the surface, i was still pacing about with clenched fists. Thank heaven for my mum who encouraged me to go and came with me!!! Love mums! :)

cyclingyorkie, so sorry your DH is being so shortsighted about fathers day. My DH can sometimes be the same way. Also, i think that when you're grieving it can be easy to forget that others are also affected by the same loss and further affected by how you handle yourself with it too. xx

Frittered Away, sending you gentle loves. I know exactly where you are right now. We're like dental pain twins! :(

Thanks. I think for my next lot of paracetamol I'll have co-codamol instead and see if that helps.
Remember what I said about anti-constipation measures though with codeine :p

Sending you some get well soon and soothing vibes too :D hopefully we'll both be pain free soon! :)

Ohhh sorry it's not me with the extraction! :o It's uropachild.

Nope still got all of mine, unfortunately. :p dentures have gotta be less painful than this! It's some sort of jaw ache type thing, on my right side, upper and lower.

It may be similar to the kind of pain I tend to get when I'm stressed... I thought last week I needed to see the dentist (appointment is on the first and I'm away this week) but Friday's sports massage made me realise that it is tension in my neck muscles that causes it. Sports massage did help, although getting rid of the stress will probably help more!

Alternatively it could be a gum infection. Corsodyl, although vile and toxic, does work well...

Packing mostly done. Too fat for either pair of nice jeans. Must remember to get a dress out of the airing cupboard in the morning before closing the suitcase. I probably won't wear everything but I hate the thought of not having something clean go wear if I need it.

Hope you all have a nice week.
((((hugs)))) for CY and her kids... I suggest you get them to tell their dad how he's made them feel, as he may take it on board more effectively than if you do it.

If it's stress, then I need to chill out PDQ. Can't deal with this sort of tooth pain at all :o

I think we may still have some corsodyl lurking in a cupboard. Falling asleep here so I'm going to try and sleep it off :o
  • Cocodamol has just as much paracetamol in it! So take it instead of paracetamol, not as well as!

    I'm in (hopefully).

Playing tomorrow night. Kitchen OK, so shouldn't be too bad tomorrow.

Oh bother. I need to make the bed.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.
