I'm in. And starting from a fairly clean place. Joy. It's amazing how little and often works, it means next time you can get even further:j Happy !!!!! cat.

Kitchen won't need too much work. Might even do it this evening while I force DH to attack ROD (aka his study)

Just cooked DH's curry for tomorrow night while on call. Smells great but I'm not going near it. Dinner last night re-appeared after I went to bed. Why why why am I not losing weight?

you have to take 30 or more at one time to do the slightest damage with paracetamol.. and hospitals dish out 4 times what it states on the box for OTC ones.. so 12 normal feeble paracetamol might just give you bit of a headache.

if the normal ones aren't working have you tried the ones with codeine as well?

  • Hi, I'm new to the forums here  (although I have been using MSE for sometime) and this is my first post on my first thread!! :D
So I'm a bit nervous but very keen to join you. I discovered the first flylady thread a few days ago and had a go at some of the daily schedules over the weekend and my house is looking better for it already.
I have a chronic illness (M.E.) which means that I have a lot less energy than the average person and have all kinds of horrible symptoms to cope with. I'm hoping that this will help me pace myself. I keep leaving the housework til it gets really bad or I’m expecting visitors and then go crazy getting it all done in one go, then crash out exhausted for a few days. Not good.
I've just finished a decorating project so the house has gone to pot while that's been going on, really need to start getting on top of things now. I don't have kids or pets or a job and have a small house so I'm hoping that I’ll be able to keep up with the rest of you with much busier lives .
Anyway, you’ll hopefully be seeing me around lots and I look forward to getting to know you all in a virtual kind of way.
I'm definitely in this week :D

Hello 20somethinghousewife. Welcome to flying. It really does work. We have lots of people on the thread with various illness' and I am finding that little and often makes a huge difference. Start slowly with Level 1. As everyone says, it didn't get messy in 1 week so it will take more than 1 week to clear it. But progress is progress.

Hi! I've been mia for weeks as I've just not felt like doing more than the bare minimum of anything lately. Hopefully i'm now feeling more on top of things, so intend to jump back in this week!

 Welcome 20somethinghouswife. I used to do just the same but now I don't need to cringe if anyone calls.

I'm in again. Won't be about much tomorrow as DD and DS3 have an orthodontists appointment. It takes a couple of hours to get there, a couple to get back and the appointment usually lasts about 10 minutes!

Will try and get Level One done tonight and then see how I feel when we get home tomorrow.

    Thanks to Pigpen and Toots.
