HHC completed and here's what I got done:
Clear and wipe worksurfaces
Empty and wash out the bin.. make it smell sweet!
Wipe all appliances.. large and small
Wipe over units and kickboards
Wipe the table
Just want to get the floor swept and mopped and then that's all I'm doing for tonight. Have pre-warned DH to take his shoes off when he comes in from work in a bit or there will be hell to pay!!!
Outofmoney - your poor DD - BIL had that same op about 9 years ago now and although it was really tough at the time, he's really glad he had it done and it made a massive difference to his confidence. One of those things that you didn't really notice unless it was pointed out but he felt really self concious about it.
Best get back to mopping the kitchen floor before I change my mind - I knew I shouldn't have stopped!!!0 -

Hi I'm going to rejoin here (I have been a sometime lurker!)
This week I'm going to aim to definitely do all level one tasks and if there are any level 2 and 3 jobs that get done along the way then that's a bonus!
As a bit of background, I'm aiming to get myself a bit more organised as i am just post getting married (3 weeks) The house is a cluttered mess (on top of the normal gibble that we have) We have piles of washing from the honeymoon (the rainy weather is conspiring against us!) and, unrelated to the fly-lady thread, my finances are a little muddled again and I managed to put back on all the weight I lost for the wedding on the honeymoon! So I am going to try really hard to re-organise myself!

Does anyone know how to clean the rubbery seal bit on a washing machine? Ours has gone all mildewey and it doesn't just wipe off... so that means I'm out of ideas!
Thanks

Wow kitchen looks loads better
Haven't done all the surfaces (about half). Once I get some final bits done in the DW (probably 2 goes to go). Then another surface will be done.
OH just said stop filling up the bin, hee, hee!

Did you get the bleepy 'level up' sound when you finished level One?? lol
Seals.. I use neat bleach on a cloth and wipe it over.. so long as I know it is clean mould it is ok.. if you leave the door open when the machine is not in use it will die if it gets chance to dry thoroughly.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
