Froddington - good luck with Ofsted. It will be good to get it over and done with.

Laura - well done :j And congrats on your recent marriage :)

Well, flying seemed to go quite well this morning, but it doesn't look like I have crossed much off the list. DD1 cooked dinner tonight, so I need to clean up again now :(
DD's helped amuse Little Miss Sunshine, so that let me get on with it a bit :) DD2 did some painting with her this afternoon O-M-G how much paint on the hands??! They were slimy!! (and she insisted on 'hi 5'ing' me!!) (that is both of them- the 2 year old AND the 16 yr old!!). I sent them out in the garden with a bowl of soapy water to play with to clean up, as I had already cleaned the sink in the utility room

DD1 had a summer job interview at the local 'theme park' (if you can call it that!!) Fingers crossed for that!! She will hear by Friday if she gets the job.

Tomorrow I plan to do better :D I need to go shopping aswell though, and that always seems to take ages :(

I'm going to join in this week. I can't believe how untidy my house has become since working extra hours the last few weeks - and don't get me started on the ironing mountain

Trouble is I'm doing the extra hours for the next 8 months so had better get my a*se in gear and get some kind of routine going.

Seems OH did the bin, so some cleaning did get done.

Feeling really guilty now so going to give the worktops a quick wipe over.

Sunnygirl Glad all is well with your BIL now. My daughter doesn't have too many confidence issues luckily but pain and her really don't go together well. Bu then I wouldn't want my jaw broken either.

I seem to be up to date with everything bill/sales/shopping wise.. :D

I finished a cardigan for the baby last night so I'll get that sewn up in a sec and maybe do a matching hat with what is left.. I wish I could crochet I'd do blankets I have tried so many times and am simply useless i just cannot get it. This one won't have much choice but to wear hats I don't think as it will still be tiny when the weather turns. Squeak still won't wear hats.

I appear to have the fidgets tonight.. I can't sit still.. but after walking lots on Saturday and again today I am pretty much done in as far as my back and hips go. It looks like the second physio referral isn't happening either.. it's been 7 weeks since that was sent in.. never mind, I didn't want to go anyway :p

The good news in here for tonight is that Squeak hasn't had any coughing fits since she went to bed.. she was pinned down and inhalered.. oh.. idiot dr gave us an inhaler which doesn't fit her spacer so we caan't use it so I'm popping back to chemist tomorrow with them.. foolish man! At least the 1 she can have seems to be helping :D DS2 had 'baby asthma' so I've played with these before.

I was going to trot for a shower tonight but I can't be bothered.. I'll just scrub extra hard in the morning lol

I'll do the listy for tomorrow and go find some rhubarb to watch while I sew.

  • Hi all

I'm feeling good that I managed to at least get something done.

I cleared and cleaned the worktops in the kitchen. We don't use our kitchen bin (it's too small, so we tend to just fill a binbag as we go along), so I cleaned the sink instead, and then left instructions for my son to sweep/vacuum the kitchen floor for me. It desperately needs mopping, but it can wait a day or two until I have more time.

Not a huge amount done, but I do feel better for it. I'm going to sort out a basket of clean laundry now and put it away, and then go and give the loo a quick once over before bed.
