Delurking to offer healing vibes to all those suffering tooth/jaw pain. Hope you get help soon. It's 'orrible and any pain that affects sleep really pulls you down. Dentist once explained to me that lying down shifts the pressure and can then increase the pain (or something like that)

Well I admitted defeat yesterday and got an extension on my OU assignment - so I am taking a day away from it today and plan on starting with a 'go round the house and put things away' session.

    note to self p 6

hello one (slightly) sunburnt Valli checking in - I was under the impression it was going to rain. Filey was glorious. I wore a V necked jumper I'm sprting a red V

anyway i caught a lil fishy in a rock pool and hence am elevated to position of cool teacher AND no-one puked on the bus AGAIN! So I'm happy

casserole went down well - dd 'I'll have that again"

too right she will twas a doddle. Flung the prepped meat + veg in the SC straight from the fridge, added casserole sauce mix because it thickens it up a bit and went out...DS had his 'as iot comes' DD had hers in a giant yorkshire pudding.

flying will be minimal but I travelled up M1 then A64 (waves)
we came back a different way but went near a big bridge and LOTS of power stations...and saw signs to the Land of Nod (fat chance with 50+ kids on a bus) and Hull....thought of you all..

Glad to hear you had a good time Valli - I've done Filey with school trips - great memories! And before DD1 got ill we regularly holidayed on the Filey coast - we love it!

Still recovering from trip to London at the weekend. Not even the fact that nobody had done anything whilst I was away could dampen my spirits! Why? Well the play was awesome...... and I got the autographs of both David Tennant and Catherine Tate...and DD2 (on the left) got this.....photographycatlondon278.jpg

SQUEEE!!!!!! I am so jealous of your DD cyclingyorkie!! Look ho pleased she looks. I think i would have feinted! :D

Thanks all for the sympathies on the tooth pain. I think everyone will heave a collective sigh of relief when it doesn't hurt anymore and i will then stop banging on about it all day and night. I wonder if any of the neighbours saw me ironing at 2am..? Would make for an interesting point of speculation maybe.

Today i need to catch up a bit. DD isn't up yet though and i aren't going to wake her! :)

Good luck to those who have OFSTED in!

Happy Solstice to everyone, especially LW. Your post made perfect sense, despite your liquid celebrations! :D
