Had loads of dishes again this morning cos the girls decided to eat anything sticky they could find so a lot of yesterdays work has been undone and i would like to redo some of it before moving onto another room as these are more public spaces that EVERYONE uses. still, if i hadn't done yesterdays chores to the extent i did, it would be hundred times worse so i guess i am thankful for small mercies.
I really need to get to the PO if i can. if not, i am living on sundry items til i do cos i need the cash to shop for some groceries..
better get cracking.. got two hours to finish what i can before the kids are heading home..

Help Pigpen I need your advice!! My tumble dryer died last night - it's irrepairable as the drum needs replacing so it's not really worth it. I know that you have a couple and they work their butts off, so which would you advise? Would you recommend spending money on an extended guarantee? (bearing in mind that TD's seem to give up the ghost not long after the one year guarantee expires!) I did look at the I-wanna-buy-it-or-do-it forum but thought you would be the best one to ask.0

Thoughts are with Pigpen xx
Hugsto all the others with pains, illnesses and lack of sleep xx
Happy Birthdays and anniversaries to those celebrating too xx
Did all the ironing before work and scoffed some soup. Going to put the bedding in the TD now and put the hoover round downstairs before having HH to myself and then school run time....xx0 -

Do not get a condenser.. most importantly.
The hoover ones are about the best I've had.. and they are cheap to get bits for to repair should they need it.
I do get the extended warranty.. even if the machine gets the detah certificate you still get some money back towards a new one. I hammer mine into the ground yet my hoover one has had 2 repairs in 4 years.. definitely worth the money.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Need to get bum in gear and actually do something today. Having one of those days where doing absolutely nothing isn't really an option but is the most tempting prospect of all.

Now, you listen here, little bumpy person - you just stay safely put so your Mummy has enough time to get some rest before you come along! We do not need to see you on the outside until Autumn, thank you very much!
Happy solstice and Blessed Be to all who notice - I've spent the majority of my time in the garden today. Seems to be only right.
Will haul my carcasse up in a minute and get something done indoors, as you can still see the trail of destruction Minion left in her wake this morning.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -

I second that. Amazing how all tiddlers around here have so many 'honorary aunts' looking out for them and their mothers:rotfl::rotfl:Just as well as its a close as I'm ever going to get to parenthood.

Husband's work place is on fire. Everyone is out but I don't know much as he had to leave phone inside.
