DD picked up from school and persuaded to get her homework done & the bedrooms vacuumed because she wants to go to Colomendy again this November but its going to cost this time £62 for Wednesday morning to Friday afternoon  It does include abseiling, zipwire, archery, caving, canoeing etc so I guess the price would cover quite a bit for insurance, and the school is allowing payment by installments :D If she does everything she's been told to do, eats her tea & is in bed by 8pm, lights out at 8.30 then I'll sign the letter ;):rotfl:

Sidney has been collected; it has worked out OK, the agent has another host on her books who can do insulin injections, and she was available to have him.:o He certainly seemed to enjoy himself here; he didn't want to go and get in the car!:D

I've done a fair amount of today's list; bin not done yet, but I'll have some more rubbish + recycling to go later (packaging from hair colour), and the bin men come tomorrow, so waiting to get rid of it all. I don't actually mind doing the bin (OK so I'm weird.....):rotfl:I don't honestly see the drawers getting done though.
    Listy so far:

    Magnificent Monday ~ kitchen!
    Level One
    Clear and wipe worksurfaces Done
Empty and wash out the bin.. make it smell sweet! To be done tonight; I have to colour my hair when Mr LW comes home, so keeping the bin and recycling bag back til that's done, to get rid of the packaging/bottles, as the bin men come tomorrow. (It'll only take a couple of minutes, as we don't put anything really awful in it, and always clean it when the black bag is removed for the bin men in any case).
    Level Two
Wipe all appliances.. large and small :pDone
Wipe over units and kickboards Done
Sweep and mop the floor Done by Mr LW
    Level Three
Sort and organise all the drawers in these rooms!..
Thoroughly clean the fridge Done at weekend
Wipe the table.. does it need a clean cloth Done
    Extras
    1. Clean filters and doorseals!
    2. Wash the windows if they need it
    3. Clean/descale a small appliance.. shake the crumbs from the toaster.. defuzz the kettle... de-mank the microwave Toaster de-crumbed and polished up

slightly short HHC, but 10 min breather and then im back to work.

I have moved the coats, moved the paper work folders, moved most of OH's work clothes, identified a few things for charity shop :jand almost cleared the babys room by chucking it all into the spare room!

once i go back for another HHC im going to tidy my wardrobe into some sort of order i.e work clothes, casual clothes and charity shop clothes and will sort out the 5 ikea bags of clothes in our room. I still havent found my bag of underwear and want my kickers as ive only got 3 pairs at the moment it seems , so one on, one in the wash and a spare pair :rotfl:

I'm sorry to seem like I'm labouring a point, but I think its very important to have correct information about medicines in the public domain. The OP did the right thing by ringing NHS Direct and later presenting at A&E rather than trusting what a random person is saying on t'internet!

I disagree with the nhs direct thing as it is a total waste of resources.. money and people. They have 2 responses.. see what it is like later or see your GP.. well.. DUH!!! that isn't very helpful!

But yes it is addictive in the sense the side effects are treated with the drug so it becomes habitually used (My uncle used to have people post massive bottles of 500 pills over when you could buy them in such quantities!!! and he'd eat them all in a week or 2 when he died the coroner said his liver had no signs of anything which would have been detrimental to his heath nor that was not normal for a man of 51 despite him being an alcoholic for years with paracetamol filling him up when he got the munchies!!! That doesn't mean we should all do it though!)... it is also banned in many countries or very restricted .. but my initial post was actually (as I have already stated) to reassure someone a couple 'extra' of the bog standard ones won't do any real damage.. and besides the good thing with livers is they are one of the few organs which can repair and regrow.. :D

I think it is now done to death and should be laid to rest. The issue is sorted for the poster and no longer relevant.

Suppose I should go feed the ratbags as it is dance tonight :D

Apparently OH's mum is now having flaps because Squeak has steroids and babies can't have them.. yada yada.. hey.. if it means I get some sleep and more importantly she feels better.. I don't care.. ok :p
