I'm a new user and confused...alot of people talking about refund & retain and others talking about double the difference?

When do you get double the difference and when do you get refund & retain?

Where do you stand when the sign on the till displays 'full refund and keep the product' and the sign behind the service desk says double difference?

Anyone won any r&r's on that one. I know of a couple of stores still displaying old signs at the tills.!!

PUDZ are discontinued in Tesco and priced at 74p each but are scanning at £1.49....they were very reluctent to give me DtD

Can anyone advise.. I got the huggies free baby basket with a voucher about a week ago and it charged me on my receipt for it. The SA said to go to CS, when i did they gave me cash back in my hand (i'd paid by card) and I left... should this have been a case of DtD? or is it just a case of i got it for free got my money back etc...?

I havent my receipt or anything and can't query it i'm just interested for the future. thanks.

the huggies baskets are not scanning at the till and so people are being told to take coupon afetr to cs for the refund, it is a coupon that doesn't go through, so you couldn't get dtd on this as they are aware of it.

Also managed to get toy story 1 and 2 today dtd of 44 no others avaliable as all had stickers removed.
