Tesco brand - Hot Salsa Dip - Glass Jar.
S.E.L. 56p, thought it looked cheap at that........ Charged 98p.
D/D 84p, so, jar of hot salsa for 14p.
Make sure you select the 300g one with the brown/tan coloured label. (bar code 5 051008 687071) as the one with the red label is scanning at 56p.0 -
Today I got:
Tesco Brand Milk Thistle (Herbal Remedy) 30s, £2.99 each, Out Of Date '2 for £3' Shelf Edge Label.
I bought 4 packs at a total cost of £11.96 and got a DTD refund of £11.92. I also used £4 worth of Healthcare vouchers, so got the Milk Thistle free and £3.96 towards the rest of my shopping.
The expiry date on the offer was June 19th and there were a couple of other vitamins and supplements on BOGOF offers with the same expiry date. I could have got these as well, but I didn't want to push my luck. My tip is to always check the vitamins and supplements section, as there are so many varieties and such small labels, that they often miss the odd one.

They gave you the correct DTD refund. In the case of BOGOFs that don't kick in, DTD works out exactly the same as the old Refund and Retain policy.

Today, I got a genuinely accidental one:
Tesco Thin Crust Cheese Feast Pizza (in the chiller section). £2.15 each. Shelf Barker said Buy One Get One Free. However, the receipt read Thin/Deep Pizza 2 for £4 and only deducted 30p. DTD refund = £3.70, so two Pizzas for 30p.
I bought these exact same Pizzas a week ago and the BOGOF worked, so they must have changed something. However, the expiry date on the Shelf Barker was 17/07/07, so it was not out of date. There were other varieties of Thin Crust Pizzas on the BOGOF Shelf Barker and I would imagine these would also be charged at 2 for £4.

In 2 different stores i have found OOD labels for Optrex eye bath, all the other Optrex labels had been changed, but these had not, and date on these said sometime in June.
I bought just 2 plus other healthcare as was using coupons, and h&b to get free stuff anyway, and my shopping bill each time was £2 something due to all the coupons....and then they had to give me £6.48ish in DTD back....:j:beer::j
They STILL had the label showing yesterday in my local, so i did it again...and the man who gave me my DTD was the same guy... he said, 'you knew this wouldn't come off as BOGOF didn't you. to which i replied ' no, i assumed it had been fixed as the label was still BOGOF' - innocent me hey? :A:A:A:rotfl:

This system has been on offer.
It was reduced from £129 to £99 until the 10th July.
Yellow/Red offer labels still up in store but it has definitely gone back up to £129.
A DtD refund of £60 makes this a bargain (if you want one) at £69.
Bought one in one store and seen a pallet of them in my local marked incorrectly!
Good luck!Keep SmilingSite member number 24
