Hi guys,
Popped into Tesco tonight and picked up a mobile for my wife.
Sony K300i @59.95 but £25 off if you spend £25 in store.
Discount didn't come off so got £50 back from the nice lady
at CS. Even she couldn't make the discount work and it took
a little while.
Probably the nicest service I have ever had too. Very apologetic
and extremely helpful. I felt guilty taking the money!

Quorn Simply Fillets Chicken Style 312g, Yellow SEL marked 2 for £3 (usually £1.95 each).
When I got home I noticed the discount didn't come off so going back for my DTD in a bit.
Edit: Got DTD of £5.40 on the 6 packs I bought.

Im a little thick on these things, even took a TV into the clothes section to get it scanned..
Well, the phone..
So i have to spend £25 in other things, then put the phone in the basket.? Pay for it, then the discount is not put on, then i get it for free.?
How did it cost you £10..0 -
Tesco stopped doing Refund & Retain a while ago, it is now Double the Difference, so if £25 does not come off then CS should hand over £50.What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0

Exactly what Jane said!
If you spend £25 or more on shopping you get £25 off the phone so ...
Fill your basket with at least £25 worth of goods,
Then get a K310i which costs £59.95 but you SHOULD now only pay £34.95,
Pay for your shopping and phone,
Go to CS desk who will give you double the difference back as you were overcharged. e.g. £25 overcharge = £50 back.
Phone has therefore cost you £9.95 instead of £34.95.
I nearly didn't get it as my wife queried the total at the till and asked me if it was right. I just said, yes - pay the girl!
One day it might sink in!0 -
