Got some Ginsters Ham & Mozerella slices (on offer at £1.00, from £1.59) which were also stickered up as BOGOF (smallish yellow sticker). There were other flavours too, but did not see the stickers on those ones.

The BOGOF did not go through, so got my £2 back :D
    Always after a bargain... :-)

Noticed the 02 mobile phones have a £20 airtime promotion on that states:

    "Free £20 02
    airtime"

At first glance, it looked like "Free £2002"!

Anyone got the nerve to argue the toss with CS? :D

Be great if you find a sign with a missing space in the middle! ;)

Birds Eye Simply Fish (haddock) was doing BOGOF correctly this morning. A good buy at 2 for 1 though because they're really nice. Oh, and the suncreams at our store (Blackpool Extra) all had £3 shelf labels.

Barbie cycle helmet was £14.xx now £2.50

I posted this on the Tesco mega bargains thread and have just been informed by a local PTS'er that they actually scan a full price, £14.xx
She bought 2 and had nearly £50 DtD return.

I so nearly bought a couple myself when i saw them but changed my mind. Gutted but happy for her :)

After my home delivery noticed 2 discounts applied to the crisps I bought, so went instore to test my theory.

2 offers currently BOGOF on French Fries, Quavers, Doritos. £1.79 each.
2nd offer BOGOF on Squares, Wotsits, Monster Munch. £1.79 each.

    I bought 6 french fries, 2 squares, 2 wotsits, 2 monster munch.

    Discount applied- Wotsits/MM/Square BOGOF -£10.74
    - BOGOF Walkers Snacks -£5.37.

So paid £5.37 for 144 single crisps.

Just need to work out which ones are bringing about the extra discount so could end up with free crisps.

Charmed Season 7 DVD price marked £5.97 scanned £29.97 (which is what the othes were).
My OH queried as she didn't want to buy if it was full price. CS agreed to sell for £5.97 - plus it was on 3 for 2 offer, so effectively free.
Showing as £50.99 on Tesco.com, RRP £59.99 so a huge saving!!!

If you had paid £29.97 for it and then gone to CS they would have given you double the difference back for overcharging you, so you would have paid £29.97 and been given £48 back.
