Found a couple of out of date SELS
One yesterday was Elvive conditioner (pink) Bogof so got all my money back

Today was Palmolive Cashmere bath foam £2.39 2 for £3, bought 4 so DTD would of been £7.12 thought this would be ok cos i could use a few H&B coupons.

But CSA worked out DTD as £9.56!!!!
Which was fine with me as 4 x £2.39 = £9.56 so got all my money back again.:D

Probably more one for discussion but as thats now locked....

Spotted today some funky Cherokee T-Shirts with some Hanna-Barbara chartacters printed on the front, priced at £10. But they are on a rack/display with a sign atop saying "Printed Cherokee T-Shirts £8" This worth a try for a DTD?

    Bought 2 gents T-shirts "2 for £5" - £1 discount didn't come off - charged £3 each. DTD £2. It was the pink t-shirt that didn't prompt the till.
  • Tesco pomegranate pills 30s. Bought 4 to take advantage of healthcare vouchers. Were bogof £2.49. Didn't notice offer had expired. Charged full whack. Refunded dtd £9.96. Thankfully CS didn't notice all the coupons I had used £20.xx worth of shopping for £3.xx

Walkers Doritos new size 140g bags

    SEL: 99p - (49.5p per 100g)

So, paid 99p x 2 for 2 bags and went to CS to tell her that 49.9p per 100g definitely didn't add up to 99p for 140g.
Surprisingly she understood that without any problems, but offered to let me have them half price (99p refund).
Obviously I had done my maths and worked out she owed me £1.20 so politely refused and pointed out the DTD policy!

Now this is where it gets weird... she couldn't figure out DTD so told me she was adhering to the old policy of R&R... and then doubled that!
She handed me £3.96 and the 2 bags of Doritos!
    Bargain!!! :rotfl:

    Butternut squash misprice:
SEL 69p/kg. Squash had label on it of £1.39/kg and weight of 1.16. Price on label on fruit £1.61. Checked with shelf filler that price/kg as 69p, so understood that this would then be 81p.

On checkout the price came up as 69p/kg but the weight had doubled to 2.33kg, putting the squash back to price of £1.61.

At desk had job to convince the person that there was an error - since the checkout price looked ok at 69p/kg! Took 2 people 5 minutes to agree that there was an error. Just wonder how many other people had not noticed this error.

DTD means that the squash was free. At 69p/kg would have been good value anyway! (Oh and it did only weigh 1.16 on scales at home!)
