Tesco Chicken Dippers Frozen. SEL 2 For £3.00. I picked up the Southern Fried ones which the big yellow sign was displayed by. It did not actually say the southern fried ones were included, but I was given double the difference with no problems. I was charged £2.99 per pack. £5.96 refunded.

Tesco Finest Frozen Jumbo prawns, 240g. SEL 2.50 charged 5.00. So free with DTD. There were packs with yellow 2.50 flash on, but I took one without, don't know if both have same barcode.

This is my first misprice post and it is also a doubt, since I'm not sure how this works (there doesn't seem to be a discussion area).

I bough at Tesco express 1 sausage and ham tortelini (£1.65) and 1 cheese and tomato tortelini (£1.45). The tortelini are on "any 2 for £2.50" and this has been for as long as I can remember. I was charged 1.65+1.45=3.10 with no discount. I went back to the store, had to argue that it was "any 2", waited for the store manager and got my £0.60 back.

Shouldn't I have received double the 0.60? I did not ask for it because I'm quite a newbie in this...

If so, I hope someone can use this glitch, since I lost my time and patience and got back only what I was ovecharged. I'm becoming a bit sick of retailers mispricing, my taking the time to correct that and getting back only what I paid in excess....

PS: Is this a misprice in the spirit of this thread?

Yes, this is exactly the sort of thing this thread is for - thanks for posting. :)

You should've got twice the difference back, i.e. 2x 60p. The thing to remember when the staff don't seem to "remember" their own policy  is to point out the big blue board behind them, which, at the bottom, says that "if things don't add up" and you're overcharged, you get twice the difference back. ;)

Veet waxing products. Look out for the little display stands, which have not been updated. SEL 4.xx charged 5.xx bought 3 packs and got just over £6 back. Also used H+B and quit vouchers so nearly got them free.:T
  • Not so much a mis-price, as a 'glitch'!
Lucozade Sport Bottles in packs of 4 are on 2 for £5.00 AND get a Sports Drinks Bottle (worth £3.48) FREE!
'Glitch' is....take two bottles, and they both go through at £3.48, but are refunded at the end of the receipt!

hi peeps, Look out for tesco Fresh Scottish beef Topside/ Top rump joint. Some of the labels are stating prices the wrong way round. I got one today and the price window showed £2.94, the weight per kilo showed £4.21. Was charged £4.21 for a nice bit of beef, got £2.64 refunded.
