I have thanked you as well as quoting you! :rotfl:

But anyway the answer is yes, you will have paid £19.97 first though (or whatever it scans at) then you should be given £20.00 back (assuming the sticker says £9.97) so you get the DVD for free.

But don't buy more than one of the same title, don't buy lots of wrong 'uns in the same store and don't make it obvious at CS or at the till that you know the policy (say nothing at the till at all BTW, just pay up unless the till op spots the error in the sticker, in which case you may like to change your mind then and there and not buy it).

Just act 'polite but surprised' when raising the error at the CS desk after leaving the store briefly (always best to go out to the carpark whilst reading/checking your receipt but not for long, you don't want to be accused of putting the sticker there yourself). State the policy firmly if you have to as a last resort, by pointing to the blue board behind the CS desk as if you have just read it....
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Coupon-Mad I also thanked and quoted you - perhaps we can start a new trend!!!

Personally I would stay in the store for the very reason stated here ...leaving the store even for seconds could result in an accusation that you stuck the sticker on it yourself...UNLESS of course there are hundreds more on the shelf with the same sticker on and they are all overpriced. (Mind you, if that is the case you should squirrel some of the others away somewhere else so you can come back another day to pick the others up!!!) Only joking of course.... ;-)

And with the wrong stickers on - you usually need a big store for this type of DVD (Extra or similar ideally)

Good luck and remember that this requires a bit of work - you may need to visit 2 or 3 stores as you may not get lucky with the first one you go to.

Shame really need some new Disney DVD's as the kids have ruined most of theirs. Went to 4 stores but all priced at 19.97 on the shelf and no stickers. Thanks to the OP for posting though, excellent if you locate some.
