  • I was also told my local store(Bletchley)mk no longer do dtd????????

Last week I went in and bought 4 items one of which was a 3pk of blackcurrent cartons and they were supposed to be 62p- till came up with £62.82???????????
obviously cos i'd only bought 4 small items SA noticed straight away and called someone over before I paid.
I jokingly said cor that would've been a nice dtd and the lady said "oh we're not doing that anymore"

    Hi all

I am heading to my local Tesco Extra later to get two Bratz dolls? (I do genuinely need these for xmas pressies)

The bogoff may or may not work but will give it a go, but does anyone know if the 25% off is still on?

    Thanks BBTHREE

  • the 25% wasnt on in the thanet extra today but was yesterday.
  • Hi all I bought a phone today for £59 and the signs were still up if you bought a tesco pay as you go phone for £50 or more and £25 in groceries you will get £25.00 off. I used 2 x £6.00 vouchers for clothes ( I didn't have any but did reach the amount needed in total groceries. ) Used a £10 off voucher for a £50.00 spend at a new Tesco close to me. Lo and behold the £25.00 for the Tesco phone did not come off. I trotted off to CS and the lovely lady said "I am sorry for the mistake someone did not manually take the £25.00 off, as we have made a mistake we will give you £50.00 back DTD" I was gobsmacked first time ever that I haven''t had to fight for DTD and first time I was not treated like scum of the earth. taffy Hope this helps someone especially about the clothing coupons with no clothes bought.

The £6 clothing vouchers were the Wardrobe ones is that right?
  • Aye but I made sure I got a young lad because one of the older tellers said I didn't have any clothes in my basket once. Brilliant to get it off without clothes. taffy

What happens now if an item is overpriced? DO they just give you the difference?

I've got fond memories, of R+R, didn't use it much but got a free Xbox 360 and lots of meat.

I've still got half a dozen bottles of "free" champagne from last christmas to polish off ;)

Hmmm - it was non-vintage - my 12 bottles anyway - I have 1 left in the garage - assumed it may be no good now????
