When i bought one today the save £20 when you spend £40 was not applied by the till operator so i went to c.s and was told all i was entitled to was £20 refund as it was an operator error.
I contacted Dundee and was told that i was entitled to refund and to go back in store, when we went back in the c.s desk staff were on the phone, we told them we had spoken to Dundee and we were entitled to refund so she phoned Dundee again and explained about operator error and Dundee agreed with c.s.
Should this be refunded?0 -
Mncollyer,
I was refused on the pebl as it was cashiers error.
It wasn't until I proved to them that it wasn't cashiers error, no prompt came up with groceries, as it was suppose to prompt with airtime.
I would have come away empty handed otherwise.
I only has the W810I refunded as it was displaying the £247.97 sign & £20.00 was took off by cashier. Still £2.00 O/C.
I don't think I will bother with phone £20.00 off cashier errors, as I was given a hard time over the pebl, which was POS error.0 -
Hi,
I bought something from Tesco that was an out of date sel and offer did not come up. CS were very rude and told me i wasn't entitled to an R & R as the date was on the sel (i don't even know what day it is...!) After 5 mins negotiations amongst cs they did howveer agree to honour the offer (reluctantly).
I'm really angry at the way i've been treated like i'm an idiot for not looking at the date on every sel, have rang dundee and they basically said it's at the stores discretion, is there anything else i can do?

As you have already contacted Dundee you should ring them again they should have a record of your previous contact. Ask to speak to a senior member of staff, stay calm, state your case tell them you have never felt so embarassed in your life and want this corrected immediately.
You are entitled to a refund as the first Dundee person said, make sure you take the name of who you speak. I had this with my first phone r&r, HO sorted and I went back and got my r&r with a smile (from me, not them).0 -
Can I just say "Well done" to Flo...I have been reading this thread for sometime and over the past few days its gone a bit haywire (to put it mildly)...and have noticed the effort that flo has put in to bring this thread in line.....

Yes very good advice FloFlo, very embarresing the first time on refusal, let alone being sent back for further intimidation.
I nominate you to be the Mummy on this thread.

Please could I have some advice from you R&R experts.
I picked up 2 boneless rolled shoulders of lamb SEL £4.xx but priced a £5.xx.
Took them to CS, showed them the shelf label, conference with head CS lady resulted in refund on one of them. I said "surely it should apply to both" and was told they only have to give difference, I pointed out policy but they weren't budging. I didn't have time to make a big fuss and wait for the manager (urgent appointment at the dentist).
Should I let the matter drop, after all, I did get one lot free or is is worth taking it further - if so, where is the next step.
Thanks.7 Angel Bears for LovingHands Autumn Challenge. 10 KYSTGYSES. 3 and 3/4 (ran out of wool) small blanket/large square, 2 premie blankets, 2 Angel Claire Bodywarmers0 -
According to a poll on the secret site, itseems that r&r’ers have easy pickings in the South, East Anglia and Scotland !, looks like these areas are ripe for exploiting.0

Full-time-mum,
Personally it's not worth taking it further unless you want to draw attention to yourself. Wait for the biggies.
You still should have asked for at least the difference on the second pack, as you've still paid more for that pack.
Floflo will help you.0
