Call it the "Tesco Correct Price" thread? They wouldn't understand the concept and so wouldn't bother looking in the thread....

Itwould proberlby be easier to list the correct prices in tescos then the misprices at some times in the past.

Rule 1: No 1 can be mean, or laugh at those not very good at R&R
Rule 2: No personal details of others to be published ever
Rule 3: No Tesco staff allowed (Penalty: Whipping & stoning!!)

Agree completely with the first 2, not the third of course (we need the input and wit from Spa2k and Constantine, and sometimes posts from TE and cblizard are entertaining too...).

Anyway 'stressed', have you gone and popped your R&R cherry yet and got Open Season kids' annual with another annual for the '2 for £8' offer that hasn't worked since September? Make sure the offer is on SEL or sticker for both annuals and say nowt at the till. Nowt!

I told you about it on the previous thread when you asked for an easy R&R to start you off! Kept waiting to see if you'd managed it or if tesco have finally put it right...

I think you were getting mixed up. It was Stella or Fosters that was a misprice on the 2 for £16 deal. The Gaymers was (and I think still is if you can find the SEL) a misprice on 4 x 330ml bottles, 3 for £4.00.

Definitely £13.84, I typed it in to the grocery section & that's what it is.

  • Afternoon all First post so please go easy!

Went to Tesco on Saturday and they had a 3.38 each or 2 for 6.00 on Miller genuine draft beer pack of 4 bottles. The 2 for 6.00 did not go through and was charged 6.76. Went to CS to get a refund and she wanted to check the label. As i walked with her I asked (innocently!) if this happens often and asked if it was a central computer screw up. She advised that it was an instore screw up. The staff place the labels on the shelf, scan them and then upload to the local computers with the special offer price.

Does anyone else know if this is the process because if so surely it means that a screw up on a BOGOF or a 2 for 2 quid in one store will almost certainly not be a misprice elsewhere.

having read the misprice thread there seems to be a lot of people getting the same offers on a misprice which kind of flys in the face of what i was told.

Maybe one of the tesco employees that posts here can confirm.

This is, for example, i do not want to put 2 packs of pringles in my trolley on the say so of the misprice forum because someone got them in Glasgow only to find they are correct where i live and i cannot get an r & r.

Long post i know but passes a bit of time. Any comments greatly recieved.
