Just a quick note for anyone putting a dvd on through the pc using avs tools. Click 'Convert video, rip and create dvd' button, save as 'To avi' then just drag into pmp... simple !

Does this player only record a dvd up to 150 mins ? i only seem to get 150 mins on and i am just recording another 1,and its going to be 7 mins over.I can carry on recording but its in another file.

just a quick note just hooked up to sony hi8 camcorder and now can do without tapes and hopefully get a lead to go from jvc 20gb hard drive camcorder to pmp and more than double my capacity .

must admit I am getting a bit confused trying to play back some DVD's that I have recorded straight from my player, some seem to go into more than one file so they seem to take a bit of finding, not sure about recording longer than 150 mins I willl try and see if their is an option for longer recording.

Hi keef 1 me mate, there is a setting ,where you go to make it line in,the longest time is 150 mins,i leave it blank.and i can only record 150 mins.
Most dvd are not 2hours 30 mins,but a lot of mine are,
