thanks dubious but which scart would that be to please? tv or sky and how do you swicth them over ? or do you mean use line out on the grundig?

sorry to be so stupid but will this act as a dvd recorder/player plugged into ourTV....that what i need and it has to have a hard disc

I have unplugged the dvd scart from the tv and attached it to the scart av in/out box (that I posted the link to earlier) Then plugged that scart into the TV. Then you just attach the pmp leads to the scart box and Bobs yer whatsit.

I probably made that sound harder than it is. It took me all of 30 secs to do this
