dubiousjake wrote:I did buy one of these scart av in/out. I know I could have got it much cheaper but I couldnt wait:D . It is fantastic. I have used it to break the dvd scart and now can record from the dvd and sky without losing the pic on the TV. If you dont have av out on your TV or DVD then I can advise these as an easy solution.
This is starting to look like a real bargain now!:T
Did anyone find a cure for the video jumping to the next one after 15 mins yet?0 -
imho wrote:Beancounter.Sorry cant help you.i never had that problem. maybe try a different tv/dvd player,or different leads .worth a try .
Got it working now, had the leads connected to the wrong sockets in the DVD player:rolleyes: :embarasse0 -

I had that problem. It turned out my scart to av socket was only av in. If you make sure it is switched to av out then you should be off and running.0 -
sockospice,i really wouldnt bother going that way to put dvd on to the player.Use your home dvd player, its easier. You havnt got to convert them.I spent a long 6 days trying to put dvds on from the computer.I put on 4 dvds on in 1 day through the home dvd player.
Putting your songs and pic on through the computer is quick and easy.0 -
they're not DVD's, they're avi files dl'd off the internet (making no comment on legalities here lol). The player supports avi, and the sound plays, so I can't work out why the visual doesn't.
My tv/dvd doesn't have the av out required, so I've just ordered one of the adapter things.0 -
sockospice.Go back a few pages on here cause Rob was having the same problem, with his dvd that were avi ,he had on the computer.I think he said he is using Avi video tools, its on offer on the internet for $19.99.comes up a lot as £29.99 but i found it for $19.99.0
