Mine is due for delivery today but my order status says "in progress" , I presume I can expect not to recieve this today after all?
Who do they use for delivery too please?0 -
Mine still says "in progress" but arrived this morning, it came via Amtrak couriers. Currently charging it so I can play later :-)All my savings are going on the family holiday!
Off to Majorca again this year ;-)0 -
Mine just came in a white van at 8 am in the morning on the day they said it would be delivered. But they have dropped another £20 since then,so i think a lot of people have ordered them now.so thats probably the delay.0

keef 1.I not bothered with recording tv,i am just so pleased i have managed to put a dvd on through the home dvd player. When you got the settings right, its so simple to do it through home player, than all that ripping and converting you have to do through the computer.
Thanks for telling me how to do it through the computer .0 -
got mine today and so far very dissapointed. May have to send it back. Have out various vidoe files on and it is very fussy about what it will and wont play via frame rate, video size and bit rate. Also i find that when it starts to play a video it come up on the screen LOADING....... every 3 to four minutes and nothing i can do will get rid of it. this alone makes it impossible to watch a film in peace. and this is just my first 1/2 hour playing with it. could not get windows to rel;aese it when plugged into pc kept on saying device can not be disconnected so just has to pull the plug with out releasing the hardware from windows first. still playing but so far not so good!!0

Hi robpiggott. Thanks very much for helping me with mine. But i gave up with the dvd of the computer and found the dvd off the home dvd player installs great. Its all that ripping and converting, then the player doesnt see certain files.
Try dvd shrink then convert it using the disc you had with the player. But i only got a dvd on,but it was in 3-4 files.but a vcd i did went in on one file. It takes a while for the computer to see the player ,when you connect it.Same problem here ,when you want to unplug from the usb,its always busy.
Try connecting it to your dvd, dont forget to toggle for the line in,when you are on video record.0 -

Are these films you had on your computer already ? I dont think it will be any different when you go through the converter, its still in lots of files.Thats only what i found out after using it for 6 whole long days0 -
thanks pat but all my videos are already in AVI format and i think its a bitrate problem. the file i was playing was over 1000kbs and with the transcoding programme it knock it down to 700kbs. so will convert a few and see how it goes.0
